JAMAICA BLUE Holiday Promotion

 

1. Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these conditions of entry.
2. Entry to the Jamaica Blue Holiday Promotion shall be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3. Entry is open to all Australian and New Zealand residents except employees and immediate families of the Promoter, related entities and "Participating Cafes" which comprise all Jamaica Blue cafes in Australia (Jamaica Blue Cafes are located in all states and territories of Australia except Tasmania) and New Zealand. 4. The promotion runs from 15 August 2011 to 30 September 2011 ("Promotional Period").
To enter, you must, during the Promotional Period: (i) make a purchase at a Participating Café (ii)request an entry form (iii) complete the form including an entry statement explaining in 25 written words or less, what you enjoy most about your coffee break. (iv) place your entry in an entry box located at Participating Cafés.
5. The entry statement must be your own original entry statement which must not have been previously published in any forum worldwide. The Promoter may disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct which places the fair and proper conduct of the competition at risk.
6. If you are under the age of 18 you must obtain the prior permission of your parent or guardian to enter.
7. There is no restriction on the number of times you may enter.
8. This is a game of skill not a game of chance.
9. All entries will be forwarded to the Promoter's head offices where they will be judged. All entries become the property of the Promoter and cannot be returned. The Promoter may make copies of or publish any entry in any form or media. 
10. Judging will take on 24 October 2011. The best valid entry as determined by the judges on the basis of creative and literary merit will win. The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into with respect to it.
11. There is one prize which comprises a travel voucher to the value of AUD 10,000 (or the equivalent New Zealand dollars) from the Flight Centre. The voucher must be used by presenting it at any Flight Centre store in Australia (see http://www.flightcentre.com.au/contact-us/find-a-store for store listings) or New Zealand (see http://www.flightcentre.co.nz/contact-us/stores/stores for store listings) and making a purchase (or multiple purchases) to the AUD 10,000 prize value. The voucher must be utilised within 12 months of the date of issue at which time it will expire. Any unused balance will not be refunded or credited on expiry.
12. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to state regulation.
13. The prize can be transferred to another person but is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
14. Where possible, the winner will be notified by telephone on the day of judging. Where practicable, the winner will also received written confirmation within five business days of judging. If the Promoter is unable to contact the winner for the purposes of distributing the prize, that winner will forfeit the prize entirely and it shall be awarded to the next runner up in the promotion. The Promoter will not be liable where a winner forfeits their prize.
15. The name of the winner will be posted at www.jamaicablue.com.au on 31 October 2011.
16. The winner consents to the use of his/her name, residential suburb and photograph for promotional purposes. The  Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever caused by the taking of any prize except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
17. The Promoter's privacy policy applies to all personal information provided by entrants. This can be viewed by visiting   www.jamaicablue.com.au.
