There’s more to Heinz Beanz than being just a perfect way to top toast or a jacket potato! That’s why we’re asking you to send us your Beanzpiration, inspired recipes that use Heinz Beanz to create delicious and healthy meals.
How will the winner be selected?
The public can vote on their favourite entries and the 8 most voted for Beanzpirations will be put in front of our ‘Beanzpecialist’ judging panel.
The top 8 will be tried and tested at Heinz HQ and narrowed down to one lucky winner according to creativity, originality, use of Heinz Beanz and taste. The wining Beanzspiration recipe will be made into a full-page colour feature in “The Australian Women’s Weekly”, the highest selling magazine in Australia!
What do I win?
If your recipe is chosen as the winner, according to creativity, originality, use of Heinz Beanz and taste it will appear in “The Australian Women’s Weekly” magazine November 2011 issue and be read, maybe even cooked, by thousands of Australians.
How do you enter?
Visit beanzmeanz.com.au, click on the ‘Beanzpiration’ tab and follow the instructions to submit your inspired beanz creation, including your name and email address.
What are the competition dates?
Beanzpiration will start on the 15th August and end on the 5th September 2011.
When will the winner be announced?
The winner will be announced on the beanzmeanz.com.au website on the 20th September 2011.
How will the winner be picked?
The 8 entries that receive the most votes will go into the final pool to be judged. These can be viewed in our ‘Top rated recipes’ section under the ‘Beanzpirations’ tab.
Our Heinz ‘Beanzpecialist’ judging panel will pick the winning Beanzpiration recipe (from the eight with the most votes) according to creativity, originality, use of Heinz Beanz and taste
I submitted my recipe but I can’t see it in the gallery anymore. Why?
Heinz reserves the right to remove any recipes that are indecipherable or incomplete. Also the use of negative or explicit language means we will be unable to display your recipe.

Can I enter from outside Australia?
You are more than welcome to submit a ‘Beanzpiration’ recipe and have your creation displayed in our gallery. However, you will need to be a permanent resident of Australia and over the age of 18 to win the prize.
Can I enter more than once?
Yes, you can enter as many times as your bean-loving heart desires to increase your chance of winning.
I'm not a member of Facebook. Can I vote and leave comments for my friend's ‘Beanzpiration’ anyway?
You can vote for your friend's ‘Beanzpiration’ via the site, however comments are left via Facebook plug-ins.

Information on how to enter, the prizes and the judging process form part of the conditions of entry. Entry into this Promotion is deemed to be unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Entry is open to all Australian Residents. Prior to awarding the Prize a potential winner may be requested to provide Promoter with a proof of Australian residency.

The Promotion commences at 12.01 am on 15 August 2011 and concludes at 11.59 pm on 5 September 2011. The Promotion is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners.
The winner will be announced on the Website (see definition of the Website below) on 20 September 2011. The judge’s decision in relation to any aspect of this Promotion is final and binding on any person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
How to enter
To enter, an entrant must, during the Promotion Period:
(a) Visit
www.beanzmeanz.com.au (the Website) and follow the prompts to the “beanzpiration” webpage and the competition entry page; and
(b) register their details or login using an existing account; and
(c) complete the online entry by entering the requested details such as their name and email address; and
(d) enter the Beanzpiration recipe they have created, Beanzpiration recipe name, short description of and cooking instructions for the recipe, key recipe ingredients, number of people the recipe will serve, cooking time and an optional photograph of the completed dish prepared using the recipe (Recipe).
Multiple entries by the same entrant are permitted subject to each single entry being submitted separately and in accordance with the entry requirements.
Entry requirements
Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or received after the close of entry will not be considered. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will not be considered.
The Promoter is entitled to reject, disqualify or remove any entry which in the sole opinion of the Promoter contains unlawful, defamatory, offensive material or the material which if published or broadcast would place the business interests of the Promoter at risk, draw adverse inference against or adversely affect the Promoter’s business interests, good will, reputation or image, or the material which is deemed offensive to display on the Website.
The Promoter is entitled to reject, disqualify or remove any entry without notice to the entrant for any reason whatsoever.
The Recipe must be:
(a) original and independently created by the entrant; and
(b) free from any claims, including any claims concerning the intellectual property rights of other parties.
The Recipe becomes and remains the property of the Promoter, subject to the limits contained in the Promoter’s Privacy Statement at

By submitting the Recipe into this Promotion, the entrant licenses and grants the Promoter, its affiliates and sub-licensees exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display the Recipe for any purpose, in any media, without compensation, or restriction on use, attribution or liability. Entrants agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use and warrant that they have the full authority to grant those rights.
By submitting their Recipe the entrant agrees, warrants and hereby declares that:
(a) they are fully responsible for the content they submit, and the Promoter shall not be liable in any way for such content to the full extent permitted by law;
(b) the entry is not unlawful or fraudulent;
(c) they have obtained full prior consent to these Terms and Conditions from any person who has jointly created or has rights in the Recipe;
(d) the Recipe does not contain viruses and shall not cause injury or harm to any person or entity;
(e) the Promoter shall not be liable in any way for such Recipe to the full extent permitted by law.
(f) The Promoter may remove the Recipe from the Website without notice for any reason whatsoever.
Judging process
All Recipes will be published by the Promoter on the Website and it’s page at
www.facebook.com/beanzmeanzau (Facebook Page).
By submitting their Recipe, the entrant agrees to the Recipe being published on the Website and the Facebook Page.
The visitors to the Website will have an opportunity to vote for their favourite Recipe based on creativity, originality, use of Heinz Beanz and taste.
The voting will be open from the time the entry is displayed on the Website until the conclusion of the Promotion Period.
The top 8 Recipes that receive the most votes (Top 8 Recipes) will then be selected as finalists to be judged by the Promoter’s judging panel, which will include experts in the area of marketing, advertising and cooking (the Judging Panel).
The Judging Panel will then at its own discretion, select 1 winning Recipe. The winning Recipe will be judged against set criteria and allocated a score of between 1 and 10 based on creativity, originality, use of Heinz Beanz and taste. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
The judges’ decision in relation to every aspect of this Promotion is final and binding on any person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
The Prize
The winning Recipe will be recreated by a professional food stylist, then photographed and featured on a full colour page spread in “The Australian Woman’s Weekly” November issue, sold Australia wide. The name of the winner will be credited to the Recipe. The Prize must be taken as offered and is not exchangeable or transferable.
If an entrant selected as winner is found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions, a new winner may be selected.
Internet
If for any reason this competition does not run for its duration due to a computer virus, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical difficulties or failures that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition or for any other cause beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry or judgment process.
The Promoter is not responsible for lost data, interrupted communications, unavailable network server or other connections, failed computer transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, electronic or mechanical.
The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, defect, delay, theft or unauthorised access to, or alternation of entries.
Termination
Subject to the regulatory requirements in each State or Territory, the Promoter may at its own discretion, vary the Terms and Conditions for Promotion or terminate, modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion in its entirety.

Details of liability
