Terms & Conditions
The RuneFest 2011 "Win a Trip" free prize draw is subject to these terms and conditions - if you enter, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1.Jagex Limited, a United Kingdom registered company (registered office - St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS) is administering this free to enter prize draw (the "free prize draw").
2.The prize is an invitation for each winner (and a companion) to attend RuneFest 2011, and will include reasonable travel, four nights' accommodation, reasonable expenses (only as pre-approved by Jagex), VIP tickets to RuneFest 2011 and associated activities in London, England (together the "prize trip"). Jagex will pay for and arrange the prize trip. More details are available on the free prize draw website. There will be ten prize trips awarded in total.
3.The free prize draw may be entered from 1 August 2011 until 5 September 2011 (the "draw term"), with times/dates set according to British Summer Time.
4.Anyone who redeems a 90/100 day RuneScape membership card purchased from Gamestop/EB Games outlet during the draw term will be automatically entered into the free prize draw. RuneScape membership cards will be available in GameStop/EB Games outlets throughout the draw term. Only RuneScape membership cards purchased from Gamestop/EB Games will result in automatic entry. Cards redeemed outside of the draw term will not result in automatic entry.
5.The free prize draw is open to people of any age. However, if a winner is under 18, they will need the permission of a parent or guardian, and their companion on the trip will have to be their parent or guardian. The free prize draw is only open to residents of the United States of America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland and Portugal.
6.Winners will be selected at random. The winners will be announced on 10 September 2011 by email, news-post and/or website announcement.
7.The winner and their companion will need to liaise with Jagex representatives regarding the arrangements for the prize trip and provide such information as requested by Jagex. This may include the winner and their companion completing forms and providing personal details.
8.Entrants must have a valid RuneScape account in order to enter. Creating an account is free, and can be easily done here -

9.Winners will be notified if they have won by a message sent to their Jagex account. To claim the prize trip, the winner will need to respond to the message sent to their Jagex account in order to claim the prize trip. If a winner does not respond to Jagex within 7 days of a message being sent to them, then Jagex reserves the right to repeat the draw to find an alternative winner.
10.If a winner is under 13, they should not provide their personal details to Jagex in response to a winning message. Instead they should provide the details of the parent or guardian who Jagex can contact to organise redemption of the prize trip. If a winner is over 13 but under 18, they should provide Jagex with details of their parent or guardian as well as their own personal details, when responding to such a message, but should inform their parent/guardian before doing so. Please note that persons under 18 will need to provide personal details in order to come on the prize trip and the trip and provision of personal details may require parental consent. If parental consent is not forthcoming, then the draw may be repeated and an alternate winner found.
11.All results are final. Jagex reserves the right to refuse or not include any entry for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these terms and conditions or a breach of any terms and conditions connected with RuneScape account connected to that person.
12.The prize trip arrangements will be as specified and finalised by Jagex and the prize trip is not substitutable, exchangeable or refundable.
13.Details of the winners and their companions may be published by Jagex on Jagex websites or in newsletters or similar alternative communications. Winners and their companions may be required to participate in various promotional activities related to the free prize draw. Entrants acknowledge and accept that this is a condition of entry and/or acceptance of a prize trip.
14.This competition is not open to employees of Jagex Limited or any persons professionally connected to this competition, including public relations agencies, affiliates or partners of Jagex Limited.
15.No purchase is necessary to enter this free prize draw: instead of the automatic entry process described above, a person may enter the free prize draw by sending a postcard marked 'Runefest 2011 "Win a Trip" draw' to Jagex, St. Johns Innovation Centre, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. The postcard must be sent and received within the draw term, include sufficient contact details for Jagex to contact the entrant (or their parent or guardian if they are under 18) and comply with the personal information provisions above as well as stipulate their RuneScape account details. Postcard entries will only be entered into the free prize draw if they are received during the draw term, are legible, are signed by the sender, relate to a particular RuneScape account, contain the information stipulated above and comply with all of these terms and conditions. Each postcard properly received and completed will be entered once into the free prize draw.
16.Jagex has the right to withdraw this free prize draw at any time.
