You can truly embrace the spirit of giving this Christmas with IKEA. Not only do IKEA’s range of soft, colourful, quirky toys make the perfect sticking fillers but for every toy purchased between November 1 and December 24, the IKEA Foundation will donate 1 Euro (equivalent to approx $1.40) to UNICEF and Save the Children. These funds give children in underprivileged countries many of the things that we often take for granted such as access to vaccinations, clean water, sanitation, education and protection.
Since 2003, the annual Soft Toys for Education campaign has raised a total of 35.2 million euros, helping more than eight million children in over 40 countries obtain better quality education, schools, books and pencils. This year’s goal IKEA’s goal is to raise 12 million euros to empower the world’s children in need.
To help them, IKEA is enlisting the help of this uber-cute CIRKUS themed collection.
