December's Competition

With peak entertaining from December to January, this month’s prize is timely. Our prize this month is two sets of Armadillo&Co Place mats and matching table runners.

The prize comprises: 1 x Papyrus Weave Place Mat in Natural (Set of 6) 1 x Papyrus Weave Place Mat in Charcoal (Set of 6) 1 x Papyrus Weave Table Runner in Natural Small (35x120cm) 1 x Papyrus Weave Table Runner in Charcoal Small (35x120cm) The price is valued at $460

Dynamic design duo Jodie Fried and Sally Pottharst, founders of Armadillo&Co, recently expanded their Table Top Collection of placemats and runners by introducing Papyrus Weave in addition to the initially launched Willow Weave pieces.

“We’ve had such positive feedback with the range that we wanted to offer our customers more choice”, says Sally.

“Papyrus is a sophisticated and refined flat weave, whereas Willow is more textured and rustic. Both bring real warmth to the dining experience.”

Papyrus Weave is available in Charcoal and Natural, with tightly condensed hemp weft built around a raw jute warp resulting in a complimentary end feature of folded jute detailing.

“The style is simple, subtle yet undeniably elegant. Delicate, yet dining-room-proof durable!” Jodie adds with a laugh.

Like all their products, the Table Top Collection is handcrafted by small communities in India where traditional skills have been passed on through generations.

It’s Armadillo&Co’s strict policy to always passionately give back to these communities.

“Our weavers’ incredible workmanship is up close on the table with these beautiful items, rather than on the floor as with our rugs and entrance mats, and you just want to reach out and touch them,” enthuses Jodie.

“We also want to reach out and touch our weavers’ lives to make a difference wherever we can.”

To date Armadillo&Co, an ardent ‘Care & Fair’ work rights advocate, has been instrumental in financially supporting local schools and providing much needed health services to the children and their families.

For your chance to win this month’s competition simply answer the questions below.
