We're giving you the chance to open the show!!! The comp is open to all unsigned bands, duos and solo acts in WA.
To enter, simply follow the steps below. Five finalists will be chosen and the public will vote on their favourite act. The act with the most votes for their song wins.
Submissions:
•Fill in the form below, and we'll contact you to get a copy of your original song.
•Submit your original song.
•Submissions are open from Tuesday October 25 to Thursday November 17.
Voting:
•Voting commences on Monday November 21 and closes Sunday December 4.
•The winner will be announced Monday December 5 with the Coast Crew.
Terms and Conditions:
1) Entrants must submit original music
2) Entrants must own the copyright to the music submitted
3) Entrants must be unsigned to a label
4) Entrants give their consent for 97.3 Coast FM to use their music submitted for promotional purposes
5) Entrants under the age of 18 years must have permission from their parents or legal guardian
6) Winners must be available to play live at the ‘Life’s a Beach Music Festival’ at Dixon Road Reserve, in Rockingham on Saturday 10 December 2011.
7) Winners are responsible for their own transport to and from the festival
Winners must be able to supply their own equipment for the performance, which has been tested and tagged to Australian OH & S standards.
