Information on how to enter this Competition forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry in the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the Entrant.
Entry is only open to Australian residents 18 years and over who are members of taste.com.au. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
The promotion commences at 3.00PM AEST on 11/11/11 and closes at 12.00 PM AEST on 14/12/11 (Promotion Period).
To submit a valid entry, Entrants must go to
www.taste.com.au/COMPETITION _SUBDOMAIN and answer the question: "In 25 words or less, tell us how Chinet can make your Christmas entertaining more special this year".
There will be10 prize winners chosen by a judging panel consisting of two people to be appointed by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Winners will be selected on the basis of the creativity of the answer submitted. The judging will take place on 16/12/11. The winners will be notified by email. The winners' names will be published on Taste.com.au from 16/12/11.
There are 10 prizes of Chinet Christmas Hampers valued at a total overall prize value of $1000.
The maximum total retail value of the prize pool is $1000. The Promoter does not guarantee the availability of these, or comparable, prizes. Prizes may change without notice. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation of the prizes. Prizes may be subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by third parties. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility and is not liable for additional conditions imposed by third party nor for the breach of those conditions by any person
The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash.
The Promoter is responsible for administering the Competition. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to re-judge in the event of any entry's failure to satisfy these Terms and Conditions or forfeiting or not claiming a prize. If any prize remains unclaimed for 8 weeks from the date of notification or if a prize is forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise, the Promoter will award the prize to the entry judged as the next most creative. Any further winners by reason of forfeited or unclaimed prizes will be notified within 3 months of the original draw date. Those winner's names will be published on taste.com.au from 16/11/11.
All entries become the property of taste.com.au. All entries will be entered into a database and the taste.com.au may use the entrants' names, addresses, telephone numbers and the winners' names and addresses and photographs for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid. Entrants have the right not to have their photo published if they so advise taste.com.au. Entrants will not be contacted by the third party, unless that have opted in to do so.
taste.com.au shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. taste.com.au shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the internet or telecommunications services.
If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other cause, which, in the Promoter's opinion, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any step necessary including cancelling the promotion or disqualifying any individual without further notice to the Entrants.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any failure to comply strictly with these Terms and Conditions may be waived at the Promoter's election and in its sole discretion.
