“Pay it forward with SA Lotteries” COMPETITION
The following Terms & Conditions apply for The Advertiser and Sunday Mail and SA Lotteries “Pay it forward with SA Lotteries” Competition (the “Competition”).
1. DURATION OF THE PROMOTION
The Competition commences on Saturday 3 December 2011 and concludes on Thursday 15 December 2011 or on such other dates as the Promoter determines. This is the Promotional Period.
2. METHOD OF ENTRY
To be eligible to enter this Competition, participants must be South Australian residents and aged 18 years or over. To enter this Competition participants are required to collect one (1) entry form that will appear in The Advertiser and Sunday Mail daily from Saturday 3 December 2011 to Sunday 11 December 2011. Participants must complete his/her personal details, nominate the charity or cause to which he/she is “paying it forward” and post the completed entry form to: “Pay it Forward with SA Lotteries” Adelaide Mail Centre SA 5884. All postal entries must be received by the last post at the Adelaide Mail Centre on Thursday 15 December 2011.
Only original entry forms will be accepted. There is no limit on the number of entries that can be submitted however each entry must contain one original entry form collected during the Promotional Period.
3. PLACE, DATE & TIME OF PRIZE DRAW
Ten (10) prize winning entries will be randomly drawn at 11:00am (CDST) on Monday 19 December 2011 from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period. The prize draw will be conducted at the Promoter’s premises.
4. NATURE AND VALUE OF THE PRIZES
The persons named in the ten (10) drawn entries will each win one (1) $500 cheque in the name of the prize winner and one (1) $500 cheque for his/her nominated charity or cause.
Total maximum prize value: $10,000.00
5. METHOD OF ADVISING RESULT OF DRAW
Each prize winner will be notified by telephone and mail by the Promoter using the details provided on the drawn entry form. All prize winners will be required to confirm his/her date of birth at the time of prize notification.
All prize winners’ names will be published in The Advertiser Public Notices on Wednesday 21 December 2011.
6. PRIZE COLLECTION
All prizes must be collected from the Promoter by 5.00pm (CDST) Monday 17 January 2012. Identification must be presented upon collection of all prizes. Any prize which remains unclaimed after this time will be forfeited to SA Lotteries. Cheques for nominated charities or causes will be sent via post to the respective charity or cause by the Promoter.
7. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Employees of the Promoter, SA Lotteries, its agents and associated companies with this Competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. For the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, see today's classified index page. Prizes are not transferable and does not include any other costs of a personal nature not stated. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the recipient is unable to use it as stated.
Any change in the value of prizes between the publishing date and the date prizes are claimed is not the responsibility of the Promoter. Any additional costs incurred by the prize winner, other than those which form part of the prize, are the responsibility of the prize winner. The Promoter’s decision in relation to all aspects of the Competition is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
Each participant agrees that by participating in this Competition, his/her name and photograph may be used for promotional purposes.
The Promoter and its agencies associated with this Competition are not liable and do not accept responsibility for:
a) any late, lost or misdirected postal entries; or
b) any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained:
i. in connection with a participant’s participation in the Competition or the taking of the prize, except that which cannot be excluded by law; or
ii. relating to the conduct of the Competition however caused, including failure of the website or the Promoter’s service provider or incorrect or corrupt data supplied by the Promoter to the participant.
8. PRIVACY
By entering the Competition, participants consent to the Promoter's collection of the personal information on an entry form for the purpose of conducting the Competition. Participants also consent to his/her name being printed in The Advertiser if they are selected as a prize winner. If a participant does not provide the required information, that participant’s entry will not be eligible to be entered into the prize draw.
