Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions.

Employees of King Furniture and their immediate families are ineligible to enter, as are suppliers to King Furniture.
This promotion is run through a recognised Facebook application.
The competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over who live in Australia.
Entry:
To enter participants visit and ‘like’ King Furniture on Facebook and respond to the question ‘Why do you love this King Sofa?’.
Entries without the required information will be deemed incomplete and will not count towards an entry into the Promotion.
To be eligible to win contestants must
write in 25 words or less why they love their chosen King Furniture sofa to win it. There is a choice of six sofas to choose from which are: Houdini, Andrea, Delta Storage, Delta II, Carousel and Baby Jasper.
Participants can enter once only during the life of the competition (Friday 11 November 2011
to midnight Friday 2 December 2011). All times referred to in these conditions are all
Australian Eastern Standard Time.Entries must be submitted by midnight on Friday 2 December 2011 (AEST).
The winner will be contacted by Friday 9 December 2011 through notification by phone and/or email.
The winner announced is final and based on the most ‘creative’ answer in 25 words or less as judged by King Furniture. No correspondence will be entered into.
The winner agrees to participate in any news media activities surrounding the promotion.
If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, we are entitled in our sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and (subject to any written directions given by the various Lotteries Departments), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
Entrants’ details may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.

King Furniture is not responsible for lost, late, incomprehensible or incorrect entries in the competition. We also accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from prize winnings in the competition. You should seek Independent financial advice about such matters.
Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify King Furniture.
King Furniture is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by you or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of the competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or (without limitation) any other event outside our reasonable control, we are entitled to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition – subject to any written directions from the various regulatory bodies responsible for supervising the conduct of the competition (the Lotteries Departments).
Prize:
There is one sofa from King Furniture as the prize, and it will be awarded to one winner.The prize is non-refundable and non-transferable. The sofa that is selected as the winning sofa choice cannot be transferred to another sofa.
The prize is as pictured on the Facebook competition in a choice of fabric and colour from the King collection only. Accessories are not included.
Winners must take the prize as offered. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.
King Furniture reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or great value if the prize is for some reason unavailable.
King Furniture will provide deluxe delivery at no cost in metro areas of cities in which a King Furniture showroom is located (ie. Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Canberra only). If the winner is not based in one of these metro areas, they must pay for the transport cost.
The prize does not include any transport, transfers, flights or accommodation.
This prize package may not be combined with any other voucher or offer.
If a prize is unclaimed, an unclaimed prize draw will be held at 12:00pm (AEST) on Monday 12 December 2011 at the King Furniture showroom, King Furniture Australia Pty. Ltd. 61 Parramatta Rd, Annandale NSW 2038. The winner will be notified by phone and in writing within 14 days of the draw.
Prize value is accurate at the time of printing. King Furniture accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize. All prize values are in Australian dollars.
The winner releases King Furniture from any and all causes of action, losses, liability, damage, expense (including legal expenses), cost or charge suffered, sustained or in any way incurred by the winner as a result of any loss or damage to any physical property of the winner, or any injury to or death of any person arising out of, or related to, or in any way connected with the Promoters or the prize.
In the event of a third party other than King Furniture cancelling any event related to this prize, King furniture cannot be held responsible.
