Just take a photo in the city of the weekly festive theme and upload it for your chance to win some fabulous weekly prizes worth over $500 or the Grand Prize drawn at the end of December.So for your chance to win, get snapping now.
Terms and Conditions for Christmas Photo Competition1To be eligible to enter, entrants must:
1.1be over 18 years of age or have permission from a parent or legal guardian;
1.2not be an employee or an immediate family member of an employee of the City of Melbourne (Promoter) or its contractors or agencies;
1.3‘like’ That’s Melbourne Facebook page;
1.4enter the competition by uploading a photograph incorporating the weekly theme at the time of entry, as follows:
•Christmas Square (City Square) from 7.00 pm (AEST) on Friday 2 December 2011 to noon (AEST) Friday 9 December 2011;
•Mistletoe Kissing Bridge from 7.00 pm (AEST) on Friday 9 December to noon (AEST) Friday 16 December 2011;
•Light Projections (State Library and St Paul’s Cathedral) from 7.00 pm (AEST) on Friday 16 December to noon (AEST) Friday 23 December 2011;
•Your Favourite Christmas Decoration from 7.00 pm (AEST) on Friday 23 December to noon (AEST) Friday 30 December 2011; and
•Promoter’s Choice and overall People’s Choice from 7.00 pm (AEST) on Friday 2 December to 4.00 pm (AEST) Friday 30 December 2011;
1.5ensure any photo uploaded is owned by the entrant, does not infringe the rights of third parties, is not discriminatory, offensive or unlawful in any way; and
1.6not put themselves, others or the Christmas decorations at risk of harm in order to take a photograph (for example, do not climb decorations and no planking); and
1.7photos must be taken within the City of Melbourne municipality in 2011 to be eligible.
2One entry per person, per weekly theme.
3You can vote for multiple images once per day.
4Only one prize can be won per person for a weekly theme.
5All winners will be determined by the Promoter. For the weekly theme prizes and Promoter’s Choice, photos will be judged on their representation of the Melbourne Christmas spirit and the designated theme. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6The People’s Choice weekly prize winners will be determined by the number of ‘votes’ at the close of each week or in the event of a tie, a random draw.
Total Pool Prize vauled at $4,767.00
8Prizes are not transferable, not redeemable for cash and are subject to any conditions imposed by the Promoter and provider. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries and will determine if an entry is eligible at its absolute discretion with no legal liability.
9The Promoter may change the package prize at its absolute discretion for a prize of approximate equal or greater retail value with no legal liability.
10The winners will be contacted by Friday 27 January 2012 via email, Facebook (if possible) and phone (except in the case of Week one where the winner will be notified by Monday 12 December 2011). If the winner does not collect their prize within 5 days of being notified then that winner forfeits all prizes and the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner without recourse.
11Entries including photos remain the property of the Promoter.
12The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (even if caused by negligence) as a result of entering this competition, accepting and/or using a prize including if an event is cancelled.
13The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age and identity of the winner before awarding the prize and if the Promoter determines that the winner is ineligible, the winner automatically forfeits the prize and a new winner may be selected.
14Facebook is not a sponsor of the ‘Christmas Photo Competition’ or liable for conducting this competition
