Muffin Break™ Blendz Terms & Conditions

      1. Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these conditions of entry.
      2. Entry to the Muffin Break CafĂ© Blendz Competition shall be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
      3. Entry is open to all Australian residents except employees and immediate families of Slingshot Digital Ventures or the Promoter, related entities and “Participating Stores” which comprise all Muffin Break stores in Australia (Muffin Break stores are located in all states and territories of Australia).       4. The promotion runs from 10.00AM 26 December 2011 to 10.00AM 23 January 2012 (“Promotional Period”). To enter, you must, during the Promotional Period: Enter the required form provided on the Muffin Break Facebook page (www.facebook.com/MuffinBreak). The required form will include the question “If you could blend your two favourite movies – which ones would you choose?” It is a condition of entry that this question be answered in 25 words or less.
      5. The entry statement must be your own original entry statement which must not have been previously published in any forum worldwide. The Promoter may disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct which places the fair and proper conduct of the competition at risk.
      6. If you are under the age of 18 you must obtain the prior permission of your parent or guardian to enter.
      7. There is no restriction on the number of times you may enter.
      8. This is a game of skill not a game of chance.
      9. All entries will be forwarded to Slingshot Digital Ventures head office where they will be judged. All entries become the property of the Promoter and cannot be returned. The Promoter may make copies of or publish any entry in any form or media.
      10. Judging will take on 23 January 2011. The selected valid entries as determined by the judges will win. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into with respect to it.
      11. There are 100 prizes in total.
      12. 100 valid entrants will be selected to receive a prize by Slingshot Digital Ventures on the basis of creative merit displayed in their answer to the question set out in Section 4.
      13. The valid entrants selected according to creative merit will receive prizes that will include 1 Family Movie Pass with a prize value of AUD $62.00.
      14. The total prize pool is AUD $6200.00
      15. The voucher can only be redeemed at participating Muffin Break stores. The voucher must be utilised within 4 months of the date of issue (approximately 23 May 2012) at which time it will expire. Any unused balance will not be refunded or credited on expiry.
      16. Any element of the prize is not to be resold for cash or profit in any way.
      17. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to state regulation.
      18. The prize is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
      19. Where possible, the winner will be notified by email on the day of judging. Where practicable, the winner will also receive written confirmation within five business days of judging. If the Promoter is unable to contact the winner for the purposes of distributing the prize, that winner will forfeit the prize entirely and it shall be awarded to the next selected winner in the promotion. The Promoter will not be liable where a winner forfeits their prize.
      20. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever caused by the taking of any prize except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
