Terms & Conditions

1. The Entry Form forms part of the terms and conditions of entry and entry implies acceptance of all terms and conditions. Entry is open to all Australian residents, other than employees and families of the Promoters and their associated agencies.

2. Enter by logging on to www.austria.info/au and clicking on the Win a trip for two to Vienna! banner, then completing the Entry Form, including the three words that best describe New Year’s Eve in Vienna to you.

3. The competition commences on 10 January 2012 and closes 5pm, 31 May 2012. No responsibility will be accepted for entries which are lost, misdirected, corrupted, damaged, illegible, which fail to arrive by the closing date, which are affected in any way by the malfunction of e-mail programs or servers, or which contain incomplete and incorrect entrant contact details. All entries will become the property of the Promoters.

3. The one most creative answer will win the prize comprising:

* Two Economy Class Return Air Fares from Australia to Vienna flying Austrian Airlines

* Five nights accommodation at Boutique-Hotel Sans Souci

Total prize is valued at approximately AUD $10,000.00 (including GST). The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize between the date of publication and the date the prize is taken.

4. The prize must be taken between 28 December 2012 and 2 January 2013. All other expenses of the winner and their holiday guest (including travel to and from Sydney, transfers, food and beverages, taxes and spending money) and ancillary costs will be the responsibility of the winner and their holiday guest. The total value of the Prize is approximately AUD $10,000.00. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damages whatsoever suffered by the winner and their holiday guest (including without limitation direct or consequential loss or personal injury) during the course of the prize-winning trip or inability of the winner and their holiday guest to take the prize-winning trip when or as offered for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter. The winner and their holiday guest are to provide their own travel insurance.

5. The prize will be judged by a panel appointed by the Promoters. Each entry will be judged on creative merit. Chance plays no part in the determination of the winner. The prize winner will be determined on 14 June 2012 at Universal Music's registered office. The judges’ decision is final and binding upon all entrants and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners will be notified by telephone and the winner’s name will be published in The Australian on 2 July 2012. If the prize winner is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian.

6. The Promoters and their associated agencies shall not be liable in any way if the performance of their obligations hereunder is delayed or becomes impossible by reason of any Act of God, war, fire, earthquake, strike, sickness, accident, civil commotion or any other cause.

Universal Music Australia Pty Limited, the Austrian National Tourist Office and the Vienna Tourist Board need to collect the personal information on the entry form so we can enter you in the competition. We may use personal information about you for related purposes, including sending you information about Universal or travel/tourism-related products, events/artists, news and further competition. We may disclose personal information to other organisations that assist us to promote our artists.
