TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to residents of NSW, VIC, SA, WA, ACT, and QLD only. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
3. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to all terms and conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to this Promotion.
4. Promotion commences on Tuesday 14 February 2012, and closes 6:00pm AEST on Sunday 4 March 2012 (“Promotional Period”).
5. To enter, individuals must, during the Promotional Period visit
www.hoyts.com.au, purchase a movie ticket to the Hoyts screening of Crusty Demons 16 – Outback Attack online at hoyts.com.au, an automatic message will appear after the online transaction, follow the prompts and input the requested details and submit the fully completed entry form including answering a question in 25 words or less “Which Crusty Demons Rider are you most looking forward to seeing at the 2012 Formula 1™ Australian Grand Prix, and why?”
6. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
7. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
8. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per ticket purchased; (b) each entry must be submitted with a different email address; and (c) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
9. Entrants must retain a copy of their purchase receipt(s), ticket stub or confirmation email (for online purchases) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize.
10. Winners will be notified immediately in writing.
11. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. MAJOR PRIZE - One person will win a trip for two people to go to the 2012 Formula 1™ Australian Grand Prix, to be held on Thursday 15 March – Sunday 18 March 2012. Airport transfers or transport are NOT included. Prize breakdown is as follows:
a) Return economy class airfares from the winner’s nearest capital city (does not include Victorian residents) for the Prize Winner and one travel companion from the Prize Winner’s nearest capital city to Melbourne, departing Thursday 14 March 2012 and returning Monday 19 March 2012, valued up to AU $2,000
b) Four nights’ accommodation for two in a twin share 4 star hotel in Melbourne (to be determined by the Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) from Thursday 15 March until Sunday 18 March 2012, valued up to $1,500
c) Pit Lane Walk passes for the winner and the companion, valued up to AU $1,000
d) Four day Grandstand tickets for the winner and the companion to the 2012 Formula 1™ Australian Grand Prix, valued up to AU $820

13. Major prize total value up to AU $8,449.00
14. RUNNER UPS – Three runner ups will receive a prize pack containing the following:
a) One Crusty Demons Tool Box DVD Collection for, valued at AU $129
b) Two Hoyts La Premiere movie tickets, valued at AU $70
15. Three runner ups prize packs total valued at AU $597
16. If the Activity is varied for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter, it may not be rescheduled and no compensation will be offered. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions from a relevant State and/or Territory regulatory authority.
17. All other expenses, including transport and airport transfers, additional spending money, meals, travel to and from the venues, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the major prize winner. Unless expressly stated, all other expenses become the responsibility of the winners.
18. The Promoter, prize providers, and activity operators, in their absolute discretion, at all times reserve the right to: (a) prevent the major prize winner and/or their companion from participating in the Activity if, at any time, they reasonably believe that they pose a safety risk or for any other reason; and/or (b) cancel the Activity if the conditions are deemed dangerous. (c) vary and/or substitute the prize (or part thereof) without notice with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a State and/or Territory regulatory authority.
19. As a condition of accepting the prizes, the major prize winner and their companion must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or Prize Providers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
20. The major prize winner and their companion acknowledge that elements of the prizes are dangerous and may result in injury or death, and participate at their own risk. To the full extent permitted by law neither the Promoter, and/or any of its employees, contractors and agents or employees of its contractors and agents, and/or companies providing prizes for the Promotion, will be liable for any liability / cost / loss / damage / expense / death / personal injury suffered or incurred or any dispute (including, but not limited to, direct/indirect/consequential loss) arising out of, or in connection with this Promotion.
21. In the event that any prize item is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right, subject to the approval of any relevant trade lottery authority, to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value.
22. The winner also agrees to comply with these Conditions, the Conditions of Sale and Conditions of Entry to the Event (collectively, the Conditions) (copies of which are available at
www.grandprix.com.au or from the AGPC, and the Conditions of Entry displayed at entrances to the Event).
23. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
24. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
25. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
26. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
27. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and as required, to regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
