How to Enter
To enter the ‘I like to Win, But Love to win $5,000’ campaign at Stockland Balgowlah customers simply:
1. Make a minimum spend of $10 or more at any participating specialty retailer during the promotional period to receive a scratch & win game card
2. Scratch the latex play area on the game card to reveal if they are an instant winner. If an instant winner, present their winning game card to Centre Management to claim their prize.
3. Both winners and non-winners are invited to complete the details on the reverse of the Scratch Card and enter the draw to win $5,000.
Duration Of Competition The competition opens on 9am Thursday 1 March and finishes at 5.30pm Thursday 29 March 2012, or when all 5,000 scratch cards are distributed, whichever comes first.
Conditions of Entry
1. Information on ‘how to enter’ and prizes offered forms part of these ‘Conditions of Entry’.
2. One (1) Scratch and Win card will be provided per receipt from any participating retailer.
3. Participating retailers include speciality retailers only in the ‘I like to Win, But Love to win $5,000’ campaign.
4. Customers may enter more than once, but there may be only one scratch card per receipt.
5. To be valid, each entry must be on a fully ‘I like to Win, But Love to win $5,000’ campaign scratch card and placed in the competition barrel provided by Stockland Balgowlah located outside Berkelouw Books on the Ground Floor.
6. Entry is only open to Australian residents.
7. No instant prize vouchers will be awarded after 5.30pm Thursday 5 April 2012. Entries received after 5.30pm on Thursday 29 March 2012 will not be considered.
8. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected Scratch and Win cards.
9. Entries will not be accepted via post.
10. Entries illegible, forged, mutilated, copied or tampered with in any way will not be considered.
11. Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, participating retailers and the agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate families mean parents, siblings, spouse, children and grandparents.
12. Partial lay-by receipts, bill payments such as the payment of credit card bills, bank transactions, bank fees and charges and service bills (such as gas, electricity, rates and phone bills) are not accepted as part of this competition.
13. The prize-winner must provide suitable identification e.g. Driver’s Licence, to the promoters’ satisfaction to be entitled to claim the prize.
14. If the prize-winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with the Conditions of Entry.
16. Instant prizes must be presented to the redemption point listed on the voucher by 5.30pm Thursday 5 April 2012.

1. The prize value is correct at the authorisation date of the competition. The Promoter is not responsible for any subsequent variation in value.
2. The prize is not redeemable for cash and not transferable and must be taken as offered.
Date, Time and Place of Draws
The winner will be drawn at 10am Friday 30 March 2012 at the Centre Management Office at Stockland Balgowlah.
1. The winner will be determined via a random draw from an entry barrel.
2. The judge’s decision is final. No further correspondence will be entered into.
3. The winner will be contacted by phone after the draw has taken place and will also be notified in writing thereafter.
4. The winner does not need to be present at the draw
5. The winner/s name will be published in The Manly Daily Public Notices Section on Thursday 5 April 2012.
6. If despite every reasonable effort the winner of a major prize cannot be contacted,
the prize will be retained for three (3) months. At the end of the three (3) months, being 10am Friday 29 June 2012 if the prizes remain unclaimed, a letter will be sent to the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing setting out full details and steps taken to try and contact the winner/s. At that stage a request for redraw will be sought. Any redraw/s will be conducted at the Centre Management Office at Stockland Balgowlah at 10am Monday 2 July 2012. A winner in the unclaimed prize draw will be awarded the major prize at the absolute discretion of the Promoter.
7. The winner/s name will be published in The Manly Daily Public Notices Section on Monday 9 July 2012.
Draw for unclaimed instant prizes
Any instant prizes valued at $50 or more that have not been claimed by 5.30pm Thursday 5 April 2012 will automatically go into a random draw from the entry barrel. The winner/s will be drawn at 10am Thursday 5 July 2012.
Customers Information
1. By entering the promotion you give the Promoter consent to use your personal information for further purposes and promotions unless you say otherwise.
2. The Promoter agrees to keep confidential all personal details obtained by the Promoter during the Promotional Period and agrees that such information will be used for the purposes of the promotion only.
3. If the customer chooses to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to use the customers name and photograph for marketing and publicity purposes.
Liability
1. The Promoter and any companies associated with this competition, accept no responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a consequence of the use and enjoyment of any item gained via the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings or the use thereof. It is the responsibility of each entrant to seek independent advice on the possible implications this may have on their own financial situation.
3. Unless due to fraud or ineligibility under these terms and conditions, all valid prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool value will be honoured.
4. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, then it will be suspended subject to the approval gaming authorities in NSW, where required.
5. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in NSW where required.
6. If all or any part of any term or condition contained in these Conditions of Entry shall be declared or become unenforceable, invalid or illegal for any reason, such term or provision (or part thereof) shall be deemed severed from these Conditions of Entry and the other terms and conditions hereof shall remain in full force and effect as if the offending term or provision appearing had not been inserted herein.
