Dreampad 2012

Fancy living like a fancy bugger for a day? FHM and the new Hyundai Veloster would like to help. Find out how you can win a day you’ll never forget…

Unless you’re working on the mines or involved in the illegal drug trade, chances are that you don’t have a lot of cash to throw at nice things these days. You’re knuckling down, paying off your credit card and trying to trim a few extra grand off your mortgage principle. Those “me” days and caution-to-the-wind splurges are a rarity in this age of fiscal uncertainty. Trust us: we get it. And that’s why we want to help.

Thanks to the new cool and smart Hyundai Veloster, FHM is offering five readers the chance to invite a mate to our first Dreampad event of 2012, on April 18: one day of being waited on hand and foot and generally treated like the awesome chap you imagine yourself to be.

The day will go something like this:
1. Meet FHM editor Guy Mosel and the FHM girls at the Diamant Hotel in Kings Cross, Sydney.
2. Jump behind the wheel of a snazzy new Hyundai Veloster and discover why it’s 50 per cent cool, 50 per cent smart and 100 per cent awesome.
3. Get a haircut and a shave at one of Sydney’s coolest men’s salons.
4. Come back to the Diamant and head up to the penthouse (did we mention it has ridiculous views of Sydney Harbour?), where you’ll receive a personal consultation from FHM’s stylists and get kitted out in tops new gear.
5. Learn how to make kick-arse cocktails from FHM’s mixologist, and then drink said cocktails.
6. Enjoy a dinner-cum-cooking class from FHM’s chef.
7. Hang out with the FHM team and the FHM girls and drink a little bit more. Play some video games, try out your newly acquired cocktail making skills, or just enjoy the view.
8. Go home happy. Wake up your girlfriend by accident. Sleep on the couch.

Entering for a chance to win this money-can’t-buy experience couldn’t be easier.

Simply fill out your details below and answer the following question in 25 words or less: “Who embodies the idea of ‘cool and smart’ to you and why?” If your answer is adjudged one of the five best, you win!
