ASO Mahler Cycle 1

July, 2012
Adelaide Festival Theatre, King William Street. Win a double ticket for Saturday July 28 at 8pm. Competition closes Friday July 20. Single ticket $84.50.

Stellar soloists, mezzo Katarina Karnéus and tenor Stuart Skelton, join the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra in one of Gustav Mahler's most personal of works – his valedictory and heart wrenching song-symphony – Das Lied von der Erde (The Song of the Earth). By way of contrast, the concert opens with Schubert's sunny, good-humoured Fifth Symphony.
