Ah, showbags. We love showbags at iiNet. Do you remember back when you were a little nipper how exciting it was to open up a showbag and discover so much joy inside?
Violet crumbles, Caramello Koalas, Bertie Beetles, comic books, toys and games thrown in for good measure. Those were the days, eh?
iiNet Combos – they’re like showbags, for grown-ups
iiNet’s Combos are like showbags for grown-ups. They’re bursting with fun, full of exciting products like our Mobile SIM, fetchtv and Superfast Broadband and great security software and all for a sweet $99 a month.
iiNet’s Ultimate Showbag Competition
Well, we’re so excited about iiNet Combos that we thought we’d do something to celebrate. We want everyone to experience that showbag-tastic happiness that iiNet Combos bring and so we decided we need your help building iiNet’s Ultimate Showbag!

This document sets out the terms and conditions for iiNet’s Ultimate Showbag Competition.

This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the finalists, wildcards or winners.
By entering iiNet’s Ultimate Showbag Competition, entrants (“you”) indicate that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.

open to all permanent residents of Australia over the age of 18 at time of entry.Employees of iiNet Ltd are not eligible to win any prize associated with iiNet’s Ultimate Showbag Competition

iiNet’s Ultimate Showbag Competition will run throughout August 2012. Once the contents of iiNet’s Ultimate Showbag are confirmed through public voting, entries will close and three winners will be chosen who will each and a winner will receive an iiNet Ultimate Showbag. There are three prizes in total.

“What I love most about the iiNet Ultimate Showbag is….”Entries must be completed and submitted following the instructions above to be eligible. Entries cannot be submitted by any other form or method. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected orders/entries.
You may enter as many times as you like.Entry to iiNet’s Ultimate Showbag Competition is free; however any costs associated with accessing the website are your responsibility and may depends on your Internet service provider.
Entrants are solely and fully responsible for the content of any of their submissions to iiNet’s Ultimate Showbag Competition. Submissions must strictly conform to the following guidelines:
Submissions to iiNet’s Ultimate Showbag Competition must originate with the entrant and be accurate and may not infringe any third-party rights, including, but not limited to, copyright, trademark, publicity, or privacy rights. When entrants make a Submission, they acknowledge that they have all necessary rights, including copyright in the material contained in their Submission.
Submissions must not be false, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, libellous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, harassing, abusive, threatening, racially offensive, offensively directed towards people based on their gender, sexual orientation or otherwise discriminatory or be otherwise objectionable. If there is any question as to what constitutes objectionable material under these Terms of Use, the Promoter is the final arbiter of what does or does not constitute objectionable material.
Submissions must not be harmful to minors in any way.
Submissions must not and must not be intended to exploit any material for commercial purposes or advertise or solicit funds.
Submissions must not use iiNet’s Ultimate Showbag Competition to advocate or offer instructions as to illegal activities or to violate any applicable laws.
Submissions must be your original work.
Submissions must not be in violation of the guidelines set forth in these Terms of Use. Any such actions shall be a material breach of these Terms of Use. The Promoter will remove any Submissions that violate any provision of these Terms of Use and will cooperate fully with any law enforcement officials and/or agencies in the investigation of any violator or violators.
Incomplete, inaudible, incomprehensible and illegible entries will be deemed invalid as determined by the Promoter. This decision will be final and no correspondence entered into.
iiNet reserves the right to verify the validity of all submissions. Submissions that aren’t fully complying with the above conditions will be deemed invalid.
Judging the winner
iiNet will judge valid submissions received once the competition is closed.
iiNet will judge the tie-break question on its creativity, originality and entertainment value.
The finalists will be as announced by the Promoter on iiNet’s social media channels and / or direct contact.
Decisions are final, subject to the deliberations of the appointed judging panel. iiNet will not enter into correspondence about its decision.
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
The prize
Three winners will each receive one prize in iiNet’s Ultimate Showbag Competition.
The prize consists of iiNet’s Ultimate Showbag, the contents of which will be decided through public voting, as laid out in the above terms and conditions.Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged and must be redeemed within 3 months from the date that the winner is notified.
In order to claim their prize, each winner must supply proof of identity.
Intellectual property
By entering a submission, you agree to assign all rights in the submission and any other material submitted as part of or in connection with a submission (“material”) to iiNet. You consent to iiNet using the submission and material in any manner iiNet wishes (including modifying, adapting or publishing the submission and material in whole or in part or not at all), by way of all media, including, without limitation, posting your submission and material (whether in original form or a modified or adapted by iiNet as permitted under this paragraph) on iiNet’s website and social mediums without payment to you (of royalties, compensation or otherwise)
General terms
Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify contact details provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss or damage suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss either directly or indirectly) as a result of entering this promotion, or receiving, accepting or using any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The decision of the Promoter in relation to any matter concerning the promotion will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its discretion to modify the terms of the promotion including the prize, the offer period and these conditions of entry.
All personal information is collected for the purpose of the conduct of the competition. This information will not be disclosed to any other organisation except with the express consent of the entrant. Failure to provide the information required will result in the entry being void.
The promoter is not responsible for loss of the prize.
The promoter reserves the right to syndicate activity to any and all social media websites nominated by the contestant or any person engaging with the competition.
The promoter reserves the right to alter the structure of the competition, the entry requirements and any other aspects of the competition at its discretion.
