TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Entry into the competition  called the‘App Launch’competition (Competition) is deemed
acceptance of the terms and conditions of entry set out below (Terms and Conditions):

Centro  The  Glen,  Corporate  Offices,  Level  3,  235  Springvale  Road,  Glen Waverley
VIC 3150; and
WA:   CPM (WA) Pty Ltd ABN 12 079 527 272 of Centro Galleria, State Office, Cnr
Collier and Walter Roads, Morley WA 6062 (the Promoters). 
3. There is one (1) Major Prize available to be won.
Competition Prizes
4. Major Prize is one (1) x $5,000 cheque.
5. The Major Prize will be available for collection from the Centre Management Office of the
Participating Centro Shopping Centre that the winning entry has been lodged on a date to
be specified by the Promoters, which will be within twenty- eight (28) days of the Winner
being notified. If the Shopping Centre that the winning entry had been lodged in does not
have a Centre Management Office, the Major Prize will be mailed to the Winner.
6. Photo identification evidencing the identity of the Winners will be required.
7. The Competition commences at 9.00am (local time) on Thursday 23 August2012  and
concludes at 9.00pm (local time) on Thursday 13 September 2012(Promotional Period).
Duration of the Competition
8. To enter the Competition and be eligible to win the Major Prize,customers must during the
Promotional Period:
How to Enter: All Centres
a. Download the Centro ‘Freebies’ App (available for Apple and Android) and select their
preferred shopping centre from the list of participating centres.
b. Register as a member of ‘Freebies’, or enter their  existing ‘Freebies’ membership
details on the App for it to recognise their ‘Freebies’ account.
c. Select the competition button on the App home page and confirm their entry into the
competition. 9. A tally on the App will display how many entries the customer has in the Major Prize Draw.
10. Customers are permitted to one Major Prize Draw entry per day.
11. A screen will appear to advise the customer if they visit the App again the next day they
can register more entries into the draw.
12. No purchase is required in centre to enter the competition.
13. Additional free Major Draw entries are available to customers who, during the
promotional period:

14. Please note ’Freebies’ centres relate to the centres that have ‘Freebies’ machines installed
in-centre. A complete list of the centres is provided below.

TAS: One (1) Centre: Centro Meadow Mews.
16. The thirty one (31) participating non-‘Freebies’ machine Centro shopping centres are:

Stirlings, Victoria Park Shopping Centre, Centro Melville
TAS: Two (2) Centres: Centro Burnie, Centro Glenorchy
How to win: Prizes17. The Major Prize Draw will be conducted at 10:00 AEST Friday 21September 2012 at the
Competition Company, Studio 2, 11 Carlisle Street, Tamarama, NSW, 2026.
18. The Winner does not need to be present at the Draw. The Winner will be notified that they
have won by phone and in writing thereafter. 
19. If, despite every reasonable effort, the Winner cannot be contacted within three (3) months
in writing or by phone of the Draw, that Winner will no longer be entitled to the applicable
Prize.  In such circumstances, subject to relevant state regulations, a redraw will be
conducted at 10.00am on Friday21 December 2012 via a random electronic draw at The
Competition Company located at Studio 2, 11 Carlisle Street, Tamarama, NSW 2026 (or at
such other time, date and place determined by the Promoters, subject to relevant state
regulations). The first random electronically drawn valid entry drawn in the re-draw will be
entitled to the applicable Prize (Replacement Winner). The Replacement Winner is then
the winner of the Prize for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions. The winner of the
redraw will be notified by phone and in writing thereafter.
20. The Winner will receive their  Prize within twenty eight (28) days of verification of their
entry.
21. Any decision made by the Promoters is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
1. All entrants will be subject to, and will need to adhere to, these Terms and Conditions and any
other or future terms and conditions or alterations to these Terms and Conditions.
General Conditions
2. Customers may enter the Competition only once per day, subject to, and in accordance with,
these Terms and Conditions.
3. Entries which contain incorrect contact details shall be deemed invalid. 
4. Entries forged, copied or tampered with in any way will not be eligible for prize
redemption.Entries are void and ineligible to enter the Competition if stolen, forged, mutilated
or tampered with in any way or if the Entry fails the Promoters’ validation tests.
5. Printing errors will not be used as a reason not to honour otherwise valid prize claims.
6. The Competition is open to  all permanent Australian residents aged 15 or over, except
management, employees, contractors and agents of the Promoters and the Participating
Centro Shopping Centres and their immediate families; sponsors of the Competition and their
immediate families; employees of Centro Properties Group and their immediate families;
tenants in the Participating Centro Shopping Centres and their immediate families; the staff of
tenants in the Participating Centro Shopping Centres and their immediate families; the
contractors of tenants in the Participating Centro Shopping Centres and their immediate
families; and the proprietors and staff of companies involved in the production, publishing and
administration of this Competition and their immediate families.  Immediate families mean
parents, siblings, spouse, children and grandparents. Tenant means lessees, licensees and, in
the case of a corporation, includes their directors.
7. The Promoters reserve the right, at any time and in their sole discretion, to verify the validity of
entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to
disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and
Conditions, who tampers with the entry process, or engages in any unlawful or other improper
misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition. The
Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are
reserved. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a
waiver of those rights.
8. The Prizes are not transferable, refundable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash or kind
(except where otherwise stated) and must be taken as offered and are subject to terms and
conditions.
9. If any Prize (or part of any Prize) is unavailable, the Promoters reserve the right to substitute
the Prize (or that part of the Prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject
to any directions from a regulatory authority and any applicable statutory requirements.
10. The Promoters and their associated agencies take no responsibility for any Prize damaged or
lost in transit.
11. If a prize- winner is under the age of 15, the prize will be awarded to the legal guardian.
12. Entrants can only enter in their own name. The Promoters reserve the right to request the
Winners to produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoters’ satisfaction at their sole discretion) in order to confirm a
Winner’s identity, age, residential or email address, eligibility to enter and claim a Prize and
any information submitted by the Winner in entering the Competition, before issuing a Prize. If
the documentation required by the Promoters is not received by the Promoters (or their
nominated agent) or the winning entry has not been verified or validated to the Promoters’
satisfaction within the time requested, that Winner’s entry will become invalid.
13. By entering the Competition,  the  entrants hereby give the Participating Centro Shopping
Centres authority to publicly announce their name (should they be a Winner) at the time of the
Draw and at any stage thereafter.14. The name of the Winner will be published in The Australian Newspaper in the Public Notices
Section on Thursday 4th October , 2012.
15. If a redraw is conducted pursuant to item above, the name of the Winner will be published in
The Australian Newspaper in the Public Notices Section on Friday 4th January, 2013.
16. Each  Winner acknowledges and agrees that the Promoters may publish or cause to be
published a Winner’s name and locality in any media as required under the relevant lottery
legislation.
17. If a Winner accepts the applicable Prize, the Winner agrees to participate in all reasonable
promoted activities in relation to the Competition as requested by the Promoters and their
agents, and the Promoters reserve the right to use the Winner’s name and photograph for
marketing and publicity purposes in any media for an unlimited period of time without
remuneration or compensation.
18. By entering the Competition, each entrant consents to the disclosure of personal information
they have submitted in entering the Competition or in connection with claiming a Prize to
Centro Properties Limited. Any personal information disclosed to Centro Properties Limited
can be added to and used for databases and future mail outs or emails of a promotional nature
only.
19. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the
Promoters.
20. By participating in the Competition, each entrant acknowledges and agrees that:
a. the Promoters collect personal information about entrants for the purposes of:
I. including entrants in the Competition and, where appropriate, awarding
Prizes; if the personal information requested is not provided, the entrant
may not participate in the Competition; and
II. enabling the Promoters to use the information to assist the Promoters in
improving goods and services and to contact entrants in the future with
information on special offers or provide entrants with marketing materials
via any medium including mail, telephone and commercial electronic
messages (SMS (Short Message Service), MMS  (Multimedia Message
Service), IM (Instant Messaging) and email) or any other form of
electronic, emerging, digital or conventional communications channel
whether existing now or in the future; and
b. the Promoters may share entrants’ personal information with Australian related
companies or promotional partners who may contact entrants with special offers and
by entering the Competition, each entrant agrees that the Promoters may use entrants’
personal information in this manner.
21. Entrants can gain access to, update or correct any personal information by contacting
thePromoters. All personal information will be stored at the offices of the Promoters. A copy of
the Promoters’ Privacy Policy in relation to the treatment of personal information collected may
be obtained by contacting the Promoters or by visiting http://www.centro.com.au/privacy.htm.
The privacy statement may be updated from time to time. Entrants can request to be
unsubscribed or removed from any database at any time by contacting the Promoters.
22. The Promoters (including related entities) and any companies associated with this Competition
and their respective officers, employees, contracts and agents accept no responsibility for, and
shall not be  liable for, any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not
limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a
result of the Competition or as a consequence of the use and enjoyment of any item gained via
a Prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is
limited to the minimum allowable by law).23. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from any of the
Prizes or the use thereof. It is the responsibility of each entrant to seek independent advice on
the possible implications this may have on their own financial situation.
24. The Promoters will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information
communicated in the course of, or in connection with, this Competition if the deficiency is
occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoters.
25. If all or any part of any term or condition contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be
declared or become unenforceable, invalid or illegal for any reason, such term or provision (or
part thereof) shall be deemed severed from these Terms and Conditions and the other terms
and conditions hereof shall remain in full force and effect as if the offending term or provision
appearing had not been inserted herein.
26. The Promoters reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition
subject to the approval of the relevant regulatory authorities where required.
27. This Competition is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
