SPRING SUMMER 2012 COMPETITION
Participation in the Competition
1. By participating in the Competition, the Participant agrees to these terms and conditions. Information on the entry form also forms part of
these terms and conditions.
2. To participate in the Competition, the Participant must be an Eligible Person who correctly completes a supplied entry form during the
Competition Period.
3. An entry form can be found attached to the front cover of the Spring Summer 2012 Fashion edition of the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre
magazine which will be distributed to the main trade area on Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 September 2012 and in-centre from Tuesday 4
September 2012 until Friday 28 September 2012.
4. There is no limit on the number of times a Participant may enter the Competition.
5. To be valid, each entry for the Competition must be fully completed and must:
- be on an official entry form supplied by Indooroopilly Shopping Centre
- contain the Eligible Person’s first name, last name, address, suburb, state, postcode, telephone number and email address
- if the Eligible Person is under the age of 18 years, be consented to by a parent or guardian of the Eligible Person and signed where
applicable; and
- be placed in the entry box provided by the Promoter located at the Information Desk, Level 2 of the Centre by 4.00pm on Friday 28
September 2012.
Eligibility
6. The Competition is only open to Eligible Persons.
7. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the eligibility of any Participant (including a Participant’s identity, age and place of
residence) and to disqualify any Participant who does not comply strictly with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry
process. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
The Competition
8. The Competition will be conducted at the Centre during:
- the Competition Period is from 9.00am Tuesday 4 September to 4.00pm Friday 28 September 2012.
- the Centre’s usual trading hours.
The Prize
9. There will be 10 (ten) Prizes and 10 (ten) winners of the Prize.
10. 1 (one) Prize will consist of 1 (one) Indooroopilly Shopping Centre gift card to the value of $1000.00 and the use of 1 (one) car park located
in the Sparkles Car Wash area on Level 4, Indooroopilly Shopping Centre from Monday 1 October to Wednesday 31 October 2012.
11. The Prize is not transferable, refundable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
12. Each Eligible Entry by an Eligible Person will be entered into the Competition.
13. The first 10 (ten) Eligible Entries drawn at random will win 1 (one) Prize each.
14. The draw will take place at 4.00pm on Friday 28 September 2012 at the Infomation Desk, Level 2 of the Centre.
15. If a Prize winner is under the age of 18 years, the parent or guardian of the Prize winner who gave permission for entry into the
Competition will be deemed to be the Prize winner for the purposes of the Competition.
16. The Prize winners do not have to be present at the time or place of the draw.
17. The Promoter will use reasonable efforts to notify the Prize winner by mail, email, telephone or otherwise to arrange collection of the Prize.
If despite reasonable efforts the Promoter is unable to locate or contact a Prize winner within 7 (seven) days after the winner is decided,
another Prize winner will be drawn and any subsequent winner will be notified in accordance with these terms and conditions.
18. The Promoter may, but is not obliged to, publish the results of the Competition. By entering into this Competition the Participant gives their
consent for their personal details to be published if they are the winner.
19. A Participant claiming to be the Prize winner will be required to provide proof of identity.
20. The Promoter’s decision as to the winner of the Prize is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the
conduct of the Competition or otherwise.
21. Each winner must nominate 1 (one) vehicle to park in the Sparkles Car Wash area on Level 4, Indooroopilly Shopping Centre from
Monday 1 October to Wednesday 31 October 2012.
22. Each winner must disclose the make, model, colour and registration number of the nominated vehicle prior to parking the nominated
vehicle in the Sparkles Car Wash area on Level 4, Indooroopilly Shopping Centre.
23. Each winner must disclose their full name prior to parking the nominated vehicle in the Sparkles Car Wash area on Level 4, Indooroopilly
Shopping Centre. 
Other General Terms
24. All Competition entries are the property of the Promoter.
25. The Prize winner consents to the Centre using their name, likeness and image for an unlimited period and without remuneration for
marketing and publicity use, if requested by the Promoter.
26. The Promoter Entities shall not be liable (including, without limitation, in negligence) for:
- any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss); or
- any personal injury suffered or sustained, during the course of participating in this Competition or use of the Prize, except for and to the
extent that any liability cannot be excluded by law.
27. If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond
the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law and
subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority (if any) to:
- disqualify any Participant; and/or
- modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition as appropriate.
