. Haven't done much comping at all so it was a lovely surprise.
Off subject here, just an aside for those who may have won a holiday that included insurance.... my daughter won an o/s holiday earlier this year, it was all booked but she's become very ill, it's just cost her almost $800 to change dates. Even though the insurance is part of the prize, it comes under the wording "all aspects of the prize must be taken together". So, even though the wording of the insurance says it covers you if you can't go, if you want to claim on that insurance, it then is not available as part of the prize in it's entirety (because it's been used!). .......therefore all aspects of the prize are not available for the new date. (Can you understand this??).
I offered to purchase new insurance (as this would have at least only cost around $300), but the terms do not allow for it
. Sigh. So, if you do win, and book a reasonable time in advance of departure, make sure you buy your
own insurance anyway so it doesn't become such a costly venture, which only adds to the problems (the reasons for postponing) you already have. The only alternative, apparently, was not to go at all.
