TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1) Information on how to enter the competition forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this competition constitutes
acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Participating Shopping Centres
2) This competition is being run at the following shopping centres - NSW: Ballina Fair Shopping Centre (Cnr Kerr & Fox Streets, Ballina

Promotional Period
3) The promotional period includes every day that the Centre is open for trade commencing at 9.00am (local time) on 6 September 2012
and concluding at close of business (local time) on 26 September 2012 (‘Promotional Period’).
Eligibility to Enter
4) Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
5) Officers, employees and immediate families of officers and employees of the Promoter, the associated companies and contractors of
the Promoter, retailers of the Centre and any other agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
How to Enter
6) To be eligible to enter, eligible individuals must during the Promotional Period, either: (i) spend a minimum of AU$80 at selected
specialty retailer(s) and/or mini majors (excluding ‘Double Entry Stores’) during the course of one (1) day at a Centre (excluding the
Corio Shopping Centre, where the minimum amount to be spent is AU$60) (‘Minimum Spend’); or (ii) spend a minimum of AU$80 at
selected specialty retailer(s) and/or mini majors (including at least (1) ‘Double Entry Store’) during the course of one (1) day at a
Centre (excluding the Corio Shopping Centre, where the minimum amount to be spent is AU$60) (‘Double Entry Spend’). The list of
specialty retailer(s) and mini majors will be available at the Centre’s customer service desk, centre management office or promotion
information booth at each Centre. Apparel and beauty retailers will be classified as ‘Double Entry Stores’.
7) The Minimum Spend and Double Entry Spend (‘Qualifying Spend’) may be made at multiple selected specialty retailers within the
same participating Centre. The Qualifying Spend may include retailer gift card purchases. Transactions undertaken at major retailers
such as department stores and supermarkets are ineligible. Layby, ATM, bill payment and cash withdrawal transactions are ineligible.

To enter, eligible individuals must then present their original receipts for their Minimum Spend or Double Entry Spend on the day that
the Qualifying Spend is made, during the Centre’s opening hours, at the customer service desk, centre management office or
competition information booth at the Centre at which they made their Qualifying Spend as proof of purchase, then provide their
personal details as requested to the staff member who they showed their original receipts to (‘Entry Submission’). Individuals, who
provide their personal details as requested above, will also become a VIP member of the Centre, if not already a VIP member.
9) Individuals who are VIP members (of the Centre at which they made their Qualifying Purchase) prior to 1
st
September 2012 will be
henceforth referred to as ‘Existing Members’. Individuals who only become VIP members (of the Centre at which they made their
Qualifying Purchase) on or after the 1
st
September 2012 will be referred to as ‘Non-Members’.
10) Multiple entries permitted per Non-Member, subject to the following: (i) maximum of two (2) entries permitted per Non-Member per
day; (ii) Non-Members may only make one (1) Entry Submission each day; (iii) each Entry Submission must be for either a Minimum
Spend or Double Entry Spend; (iv) limit one (1) entry per Minimum Spend; and (v) limit two (2) entries permitted per Double Entry
Spend.
11) Multiple entries permitted per Existing-Member, subject to the following: (i) maximum of three (3) entries permitted per ExistingMember per day; (ii) Existing-Members may only make one (1) Entry Submission each day; (iii) each Entry Submission must be for
either a Minimum Spend or Double Entry Spend; (iv) limit two (2) entries per Minimum Spend; and (v) limit three (3) entries permitted
per Double Entry Spend.
12) If a person receives a ‘Double Entry’ on one day during the Promotional Period, he/she cannot then make another Entry Submission
for that day for completing the Minimum Spend (as outlined in clause 6 above), or vice versa. On this basis, the maximum number of
entries a person can receive each day is two (2) entries for Non-Members (and three (3) entries for Existing Members).
Draw
13) The winner of the competition will be determined by electronic draw. The draw will take place at the Promoter’s Corporate Office at
1341 Dandenong Road, Chadstone VIC 3148 at 11am AEST on Monday 8 October 2012.
14) The Promoter reserves the right to draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant
is drawn.
Prize
15) The first valid entry drawn from all entries received during the Promotional Period will win a overseas holiday for two (2) adults and two
(2) children (under 12 years of age) to 1 of 3 destinations: Dubai, Los Angeles or Hawaii, as chosen by the winner, valued at up to
AU$23,000 depending on date and point of departure (‘Prize’).
16) Dubai Trip: The seven (7) night Dubai trip, if chosen by the winner, includes the following:
• Return economy airfares for two (2) adults and two (2) children (under 12 years of age) from the winner’s nearest Australian
capital city to Dubai, UAE;
• All airline and airport taxes;
• Return private transfers from the airport to the accommodation venue;
• Seven (7) nights 5-star accommodation at the Atlantis Palm Dubai in an Imperial Club family share room including: daily
breakfast, Imperial Club Lounge access, daily afternoon tea, nightly cocktails and canapés, all day light snacks, tea, coffee
juices and soft drinks daily, all day access to the Atlantis Kids Club, use of the steam, sauna, and jet pool facilities at Shui Qi

• All airline and airport taxes;
• Five (5) nights 3-bedroom beach-house accommodation at Sunset Beach;
• Five (5) nights 4-star accommodation in a 2-bedroom apartment in the heart of Waikiki;
• 2-hour private surfing lesson for the family at ex pro Hans Hedemann surf school;

18) Disneyland Resort California Trip: The eight (

night Disneyland Resort California trip, if chosen by the winner, includes the
following:
• Return economy class flights for (2) adults and two (2) children (under 12 years of age) from the winner’s nearest Australian
capital city to Los Angeles, USA;
• All airline and airport taxes;
• Five (5) nights 4-star accommodation in a family share room;
• Three (3) day resort park hopper pass for two (2) adults and two (2) children (under 12 years of age) with access to both
Disneyland and California Park;
• Disney character dining experience at the winner’s choice at 1 of the following: Minnie & Friends Breakfast at Plaza Inn;
Surf’s Up! Breakfast at PCH Grill; or Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Critter Breakfast at Storytellers Café, up to the value of US$176.
• Interactive Pirates Dinner Adventure for the whole family;
• Three (3) nights 4-star accommodation in Los Angeles in a family share room;
• Entry and front-of-line access for two (2) adults and two (2) children (under 12 years of age) to Universal Studios; and
• AU$2,000 spending money.
19) All travel is subject to availability at all times and maybe dependent on select seat class with airlines or specific room category
availability with accommodation partner. Travel is valid until 15 October 2013. Block out period includes 10 December 2012 until the 20
January 2013 along with special event periods. All bookings must be made at a minimum of 60 days in advance of requested
departure date. All travellers to the USA must obtain a USA visa waiver prior to departure at their own expense. All bookings and
documentation regarding the Prize must be made via Free-2-Travel Holidays Pty Ltd or their agents via the Promoter. Redeeming the
Prize is conditional on acceptance of the terms and conditions of travel as detailed by Free-2-Travel Holidays Pty Ltd and the airline
carriers in accordance with normal travel practices. No portion of the Prize is redeemable for cash. The Prize is not refundable or
transferable. Winner and companions must each be in possession of a valid passport with a minimum of 6 months validity on it prior to
departure. The winner and his/her travel companions are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, and any requisite
visas, vaccinations and travel documentation. Winner is responsible for any amendments fees issued by airlines or suppliers once
booking is confirmed and ticketed. During the entire duration of the Prize, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person
under 18 years of age. Visas, valid passports, additional spending money, meals (other than those included), taxes (excluding airline
and airport taxes), passports, visas, vaccinations, transfers (if not specified above), transport to and from departure point, items of a
personal nature, in-room charges and any other ancillary costs, including but not limited to insurance and any applicable insurance
excesses are the responsibility of the travel Prize winner and his/her nominated traveling companions as incurred. It is the winner’s
responsibility to organize transport to and from the airport departure and return point. The Promoter recommends that the Prize winner
and travel companions obtain insurance for their period of travel.
20) The winner and his/her companions must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together. Itinerary to be
determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the Prize. Prize is subject to the
standard terms and conditions of individual Prize and service providers. The winner may be required to present their credit card at time
of accommodation check in.
21) The winner of the Prize will be notified by telephone and mail within 2 days of the draw. The name and postcode of the winner will also
be published in The Australian on Thursday 18 October 2012.
Unclaimed Prize Draw
22) A draw for the Prize if unclaimed, may take place on Tuesday 22 January 2013 at the same time and place as the original, subject to
any directions from a regulatory authority. The winner, if any, will be notified by telephone and mail within 2 days of the draw and their
name and postcode published in The Australian on Friday 1 February 2013.
Gift with Purchase
23) Each eligible individual who presents their original receipts for their Minimum Spend or for their Double Entry Spend at the customer
service desk, centre management office or competition information booth at a Centre (excluding the Forest Hill, Eastlands and
Hyperdome Shopping Centres) during the Promotional Period (before stocks of gifts run out) will receive a toiletry bag valued at
AU$12.95 (‘Gift’). For the sake of clarity, individuals do not need to sign up to become a VIP member of a Centre for the purposes of
claiming a Gift, but will need to for entry into the draw component of the promotion.
24) The number of Gifts available at each Centre at which Gifts are available are outlined in the table below:

25) The number of Gifts available in each State/Territory is as follows: NSW – 2,500; QLD - 3,250; SA - 750; VIC – 4,250; TAS – 750. The
total Gift pool in each State/Territory is as follows: NSW - AU$32,375; QLD – AU$42,087.50; SA- AU$9,712.50; VIC – AU$55,037.50;
TAS – AU$9,712.50.
26) Maximum of one (1) Gift per person per day.
General
27) Total prize pool value nationally is up to AU$23,000. Total gift pool in each State/Territory is as follows: NSW - AU$32,375; QLD –
AU$42,087.50; SA- AU$9,712.50; VIC – AU$55,037.50; TAS – AU$9,712.50.
28) Total prize and gift pool combined in each State is up to: AU$55,375 (NSW); AU$23,000 (ACT); AU$65,087.50 (QLD); AU$32,712.50
(SA); AU$78,037.50 (VIC); AU$32,712.50 (TAS).
29) An entry that is incomplete, inaudible or non-compliant with these Terms and Conditions will be deemed invalid and will not be
accepted or considered. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an
entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these
Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion.
Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
30) Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph,
film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this
competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
31) If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason
beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the
Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to
any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, as appropriate.
32) Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason the winner does not take the Prize (or an element of the Prize) then the
Prize (or that element of the Prize) will be forfeited.
33) If the Prize or Gift (or part of the Prize/Gift) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize/Gift
(or that part of the Prize/Gift) with a Prize/Gift to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory
authority.
34) Prizes/Gifts, or any unused portion of a Prize/Gift, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless
otherwise specified.
35) If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the
entrant.
36) An entry is only considered valid if the entrant agrees to participate in any public relations activities the Centre undertakes about the
Prize if the customer wins a Prize, including photographs for press and other media promotions.
37) The Prize winner will be required to provide proof of identity on acceptance of the Prize.
38) Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer
guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act
or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (‘Non-Excludable Guarantees’). Except for any liability
that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees
and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity);
whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition.
39) Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its
respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal
injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
(a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access
or third party interference; (c) any entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their
receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in Prize value to that
stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a Gift and/or participation in and
taking of the Prize trip.
40) As a condition of accepting the Prize, the winner, the winner’s travel companion over the age of 18, and the parent/guardian of any
child who will be travelling on the Prize trip (if the parent/guardian is not the winner), must sign any legal documentation as and in the
form required by the Promoter and/or Prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and
indemnity form.
41) The Promoter's decision is final and no other correspondence will be entered into.

Privacy Statement
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third
parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, Prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory
authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. By entering the competition, unless otherwise stated by the entrant, each
entrant consents to the information they submit being entered into a database and the Promoter may use this information in any media for
future marketing and publicity purposes (including using this information in delivering marketing communications on behalf of the Promoter
via mail, email or SMS), for the purposes of conducting trade promotions and to announce the winner without any future reference or
payment or other compensation to the entrant. All personal details of the entrant will be stored at the offices of the Promoter. A request to
opt out, access, update correct or remove any information should be directed to that office.
