13. The first valid entry drawn will win the Prize. The Prize is a 2011 Renault Megane R.S. 250 Cup motor vehicle with manual transmission, which has been driven in the Shannons Supercar Showdown TV Series (a Shannons Driver Challenge car). The total prize value is approximately $42,000 including 12 months* registration, 12 months* compulsory third party insurance, transfer stamp duty and 12 months* Shannons comprehensive insurance cover^. *Actual period may be less than 365 days depending on the winner's location and pick up date, but won't be less than 11 months residual benefit. ^The issue of Shannons Insurance is subject to Shannons normal acceptance criteria. If the winner falls outside of Shannons' acceptance criteria Shannons will alternatively provide a $500 cheque to the winner in lieu of the insurance component of the Prize. Value of prize is approximate only, given differing on road costs nationally.
14. Race modifications to the Prize vehicle for the Shannons Supercar Showdown TV series will be removed and the vehicle restored so that it can be registered for driving on public roads before being presented to the prize winner. New tyres will be fitted. The Prize vehicle will otherwise be provided in an "as is" condition, that is, the same state of repair and condition, both mechanically and body work, (except for any advertising or branding features and artwork appearing on the Prize vehicle - internally or externally - that would identify it as a vehicle driven in the Shannons Super Car Showdown TV series) that it is in at the end of the TV Series. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize vehicle will not be brand new.
15. The winner will be able to collect the Prize vehicle from the nearest Renault dealership to his/her residence in their home state/territory. The winner will be advised of the dealership location, and the time and date at which the prize can be collected. The Promoter will organise the prize to be delivered to the winner's nearest Renault dealership at Renault's expense. If the winner is unable to collect the Prize vehicle from the nearest Renault dealership, the winner may elect to incur the cost of transporting it, if needed, from their nearest Renault dealership to an alternate claim point as nominated by the winner and deemed acceptable by the Promoter.
16. If the eligible winner is, through any legal incapacity or otherwise, unable to register or insure the car in their own name, they may assign the Prize vehicle to another person (who consents to the assignment) with legal capacity for the purpose of vehicle registration and insurance cover. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any such arrangements between the winner and the assignee. The winner must provide the Promoter with certified copies of all the documentation required by the Promoter for the purposes of transfer of ownership, registration and insurance before the car is awarded.
