Where in the world is BLEEDING KNEES CLUB? The boys from the Brisbane act have been noticeably quiet over the last few months, which is totally unlike them β since they have history with being one of the most crazy bands Australia has to offer.
Well if you have been playing close attention to/fanboying the shit out of BKC (like we have), you should have picked up on a couple of things.
Lead Vocalist, Alex Wall, has been making a serious impact with his solo project β Wax Witches. This has seen him release a number of new tracks as WW, plus venture onto the live stage for the very first time as a solo act.
Wall has also just launched his very own clothing label, 100 Percent ZERO.
Regular live drummer, Brett Jansch, has just jetted off with Dune Rats to drum for them on their debut US tour.
But most importantly, the duo are back in Brisbane writing and recording their second LP, the follow up to the brilliant, Nothing To Do, released earlier this year
So, you see, Bleeding Knees Club are as busy as ever. And on top of this, the band have just announced that they are heading out on their biggest National tour yet next month. Beginning in very early November, BKC will spend the whole month on the road, hitting up almost every capital city, playing at their largest venues to date β as well as playing a number of regional and under 18βs shows.
This comes on the back of the word on the street that the band will have a new single, titled βYoung And Dumbβ out sometime in the next week. So there is a good chance that you will catch not only this newbie, but a bunch of other album demoβs getting the live treatment for the first time on this tour.
