Terms & Conditions
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over only. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
The promotion commences at 10:00 AEST on 26TH September, 2012 and closes at 23:59 AEDST on 27TH November, 2012 (“Promotional Period”).
To be eligible to enter, individuals must purchase a copy of the OctoberNovember 2012 Mother& Baby magazine during the Promotional Period. Readers then have two (2) methods of entry to choose from during the Promotional Period:
1. VIEWA: Download the free viewa app, select the Mother & Baby channel and hold your smartphone or tablet over the page. An entry form will open to input all requested details including full name, postal address, email address, phone number, newsletter sign-up and a twenty-five (25) word or less answer to the following question: “What do you love about Mother & Baby?” and nominate the prize pool number they would like the chance to win and submit the fully completed entry form.
2. Online: Visit
www.motherandbaby.com.au, follow the prompts to the promotion entry page, input the requested details including full name, postal address, email address, phone number, newsletter sign-up and a twenty-five (25) word or less answer to the following question: “What do you love about Mother & Baby?” and nominate the prize pool number they would like the chance to win and submit the fully completed entry form.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per specified purchase requirement; (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements; and (c) each entry must be substantially unique. Incomplete, incomprehensible and illegible entries will be deemed invalid and will not be included in the judging.
Entrants must retain a photocopy of their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit. Judges’ and Promoter’s decision in relation to all aspects of this promotion is final and binding on all who enter and no correspondence will be entered into.
A panel of judges will judge all entries received during the Promotional Period. Judging will begin at 12:00 noon AEDST on 7th December, 2012 at the Promoter’s premises. The winners will be notified by mail using contact details provided in their entry.
Entries will be divided into groups based on the prize selected at the time of entry. The best entry/entries in each group as determined by the judges will be deemed a winner and will receive the prize(s) as stated below. Exact number of winner(s) for each group is stated below. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming a voucher or gift card are not included. Any unused balance of a voucher or gift card will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of a voucher, gift card or movie ticket are subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the voucher, gift card or movie ticket.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
