Ultimate Shop and Stay Competition
TERMS AND CONDITIONS - THE ULTIMATE SHOP AND STAY EXPERIENCE COMPETITION
All information on how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
This competition is run by the Council of the City of Sydney ("the City").
The City reserves the right at any time to disqualify any individual who the City reasonably believes has breached any of the terms and conditions or engaged in any lawful or other improper conduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition.
The City is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information or for any fault in the equipment utilised in this competition which may result in error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alterations of entries.
To the extent permitted by the law, the City will not be liable for any injury, damages, expenses, or loss whatsoever (whether direct or inconsequential) to persons or property as a result of any person entering into the competition or accepting or using any prize.
ELIGIBILITY
Entry is only open to residents of NSW aged 18 years or over. Employees of the City and their families are not eligible to enter.
HOW TO ENTER
All entries are made using an online submission form at
www.sydneychristmas.com.auOnly one entry can be made per person.
Entrants must describe in 25 words or less, what they love about shopping in the City during Christmas.
Two winners will be judged on creativity and effort. This decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
All entries become the property of the City of Sydney. The City of Sydney cannot return submitted entries and entrants are advised to keep a copy.
Entries are open from 9am on Monday 19 November 2012 and close at 5pm AEST on Friday 21 December 2012. No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
USE OF ENTRIES
By entering this competition, , each entrant agrees that City of Sydney may use their entry and any personal details provided to the City of Sydney for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant.
JUDGING AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
The competition will be judged by a panel on Monday 23 December 2012 at City of Sydney, Town Hall House, 456 Kent Street NSW 2000.
Two winners will be judged on creativity and effort and will be notified by phone on Monday 23 December 2012 by 5pm. The winner's names will be published on the City of Sydney Christmas website
www.sydneychristmas.com.au on Tuesday 24 December 2012. Each individual whose name is placed on the online submission form will be issued with the prizes.
PRIZES
There will be two winners, and each prize pack contains:
One night at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth in a classic room valued at XXXX (must be redeemed by 31 March 2013). Upon issue, the City holds no responsibility if lost or stolen. The vouchers are subject to availability at time of booking. Use of accommodation is stated in the Terms and Conditions on the voucher issued. A $500 gift card for the Queen Victoria Building Sydney (QVB). Upon issue, the City and QVB holds no responsibility for gift cards lost or stolen. Use of gift card is stated in the Terms and Conditions on the gift card issued.
Two tickets to the Opening Night of The Addams Family (The Musical), two tickets to the Opening Night After-Party and an official program, valued at $518. Use of the tickets is valid for Opening Night March 9 2013 only.

Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.
The prizes must be taken as follows QVB Vouchers: as specified on the voucher, Sofitel Rooms: by 31 March 2013, The Addams Family Opening Night tickets and After Party on 9 March 2013.
In the event that for any reason the prize winner does not redeem their prize by 10 January 2013 the prize will be forfeited.
