OFFICIAL RULES (“Official Rules”)
OF THE “WIN $1000 Shopping Spree” COMPETITION FOR PARTICIPANTS (“Participants”)1. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter the competition known as the “WIN $1000 Shopping Spree” (the “Competition”). The Competition is managed and run by You and Baby having its principal place of business at 74 Spencer St Iluka NSW. The Competition entry period begins on the 8th of August 2012 at 11am
and ends on the 3rd of December 2012 at 11:59pm (the “Entry Period”).2.
How to enter: To qualify for entry into the Competition you must be a registered user of Facebook and a resident of Australia. To enter visit the You and Baby page on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/youandbaby (the “Competition Site”) during the Entry Period, click the LIKE button and fill the entry form. Once you click on “Enter”, you will then be given the option to share the competition via Facebook with your friends. The winner of the 1st Prize ($1000 You and Baby Gift voucher) will be drawn on Thursday 7th December at 11am. The winner of the 2nd prize (the Merino Kids pack) will be the entrant who gathered the most Friends entries during the Competition Entry Period. Friend entries are automatically accrued for each Facebook friend of an entrant that enters after the entrant enters. Where a dispute arises about who submitted an online entry, the entry will be considered submitted by the holder of the Facebook account. No entries will be acknowledged or returned.
3. Eligibility: The Competition is open to any individual who is, as of the beginning of the Entry Period, 18 years of age or older and who is an resident of Australia. Employees, officers, directors and agents — and their immediate families and household members regardless of where they live, or members of the same households (whether related or not) of You and Baby and its suppliers (collectively the “Competition Providers”) — are not eligible to participate in the Competition. The Competition is null and void outside of the Participating Country (and where prohibited or restricted by law). In addition all federal, state and local laws and regulations apply and take precedence in the event of any inconsistency with the Official Rules.

Prizes: Prizes consist of: 1 (one) Major Prize consisting of a $1000 You and Baby Gift Voucher. 1 (one) Second prize consisting of 1 (one) Oatmeal Baby Merino Kids Go Go Bag and 1 (one) Sandshell Baby Merino Kids Duvet Go Go Bag worth $281 retail. Additional Mini-prizes and bonus entries will be offered for completing various tasks across the Entry Period.5. Prize Draw: The Major prize will be assigned at random from all entries (including bonus-entries) across the Entry Period (from 8th of August 2012 at 11am to 3rd of December 2012 at 11:59pm). Second prize will be assigned to the entrant who gathered the most Friend entries across the Entry Period.
The winner selection will take place as outlined in point 5 above. The prize winners will be notified within 48 hours through Facebook and via e-mail or phone. Failure of the potential prize winners to respond within seventy two (72) hours from such notification referred to above may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternative prize winner. By entering the Competition, each Participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Competition Providers. In the event of non-compliance an alternative Prize Winner may be selected. Prize winners will be listed on the Competition site. Prizes will be shipped starting from 10th of December 2012. The prizes do not include insurance, personal expenditure and other incidental costs other than those specifically included.
6. Conditions, Disclaimer and Licence: You and Baby is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction or damage to any telephone networks or lines, telephones or mobile phones, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or failure of receipt of entry for any reason including on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet, telephone lines or at any website or any combination thereof. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
7. Personal Data: The promoter collects entrant’s personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the promoter may use this information for future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes without any reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant. By entering you are also becoming a member of our Newsletter. Membership is free and you will receive free monthly email updates on everything happening at You and Baby that you can unsubscribe from at any time.
