For the first time Clark Island will be open to the public this New Years Eve.
It’ll be one of the only places you can enjoy a 360 degree view of Sydney Harbour while sitting on a comfortable picnic blanket nibbling on gourmet food and sipping champagne.
Not a screaming, half-naked partygoer in sight.
The historic island is one of the few on Sydney Harbour that doesn’t have a creepy history and is one of the most gorgeous havens for stressed Sydneysiders.
Located off the tip of prestigious Darling Point near Double Bay, Clark Island is a prime vantage point to experience the world-famous Sydney New Year’s Eve fireworks, with spectacular views of the Sydney Opera House and city at night.
Believe it or not, it’s about to get a hundred times more beautiful (take that, nature).
The trees and natural landscape beautifully illuminated to create a magical atmosphere: hundreds of fairy lights, (we should just replace all normal lights with fairy lights from now on) and comfortable dining settings will be dotted around the island.
