Urban Summer Terms and Conditions
This competition is a promotion run by Colivon Pty Ltd, ABN: 58 328 593 784 (“Promoter”).
Entries and information on prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions (“Terms”). Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms are ineligible. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, related entities and agents of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.
The competition commences Thursday 13th December 2012 and closes 12pm on Wednesday 13th February 2013. The competition will be drawn at 12pm on Wednesday 20th February 2013 in the Erdigroup office 195 Swanston Street, Melbourne, Victoria.
There will be one winner in this competition that will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entrants can enter the competition by booking the Urban Summer 2013 promotion “from $109” offer at Hotel Urban St Leonards, Hotel Urban St Kilda or Hotel Urban Brisbane. Entries must be received by 12pm on Wednesday 13th February 2013.
Only one entry per person is permitted and only one prize will be awarded to the winner.
The winner will receive the following:- One (1) night of accommodation at any Hotel Urban property in a standard twin share room. Breakfast for two (2) people at the chosen property’s restaurant. Parking for one (1) car at chosen property (valued at $255). Function room hire (Valued at $345). Party for twenty (20) people including winner valued at $95 per person for a 4-hour package of canapes and premium beer, wine and soft drink only.
The prize does not include insurance, in-room dining, video, telephone, mini bar or other incidentals. Any costs in excess of the inclusions noted in these terms are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. The prize winner will be required to present a credit card at the time of check in to cover incidentals. The party does not include cocktails or spirits, they will be available but will need to be paid and bill settled on the night by the winner of the prize.
The prize does not include travel or airfares to and from the chosen Hotel Urban property, these costs are the responsibility of the prize winner.
The Prize must be taken as a one (1) night experience as booked by the Promoter and is based on two (2) people travelling, dining and participating in activities together at all times. The Prize is also based on an extra eighteen (18) people participating at the same time during the party.
The complete itinerary, including all dates and times of events and activities will be organised by the promoter prior to the prize winner’s arrival at the hotel. The prize winner will be advised of the itinerary ahead of arrival.
Prize components may alter at the discretion of the Promoter. Any change in the value of the prizes between the publishing date and the date that the prizes are claimed is not the responsibility of the Promoter.
The prize must be redeemed between Thursday 14th February 2013 and Saturday 31st August 2013. Dates are subject to availability and block out dates apply.
If the competition prize is not available at the time the competition is drawn, the winner will be provided with a similar prize of the same or greater monetary value.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
The winner will be notified by email or by telephone using the email address or telephone number provided by entrants. The prize will be sent to the winner via registered post within 2 weeks of the competition being drawn.
If the competition winner is unable to be contacted within three (3) months of the draw a redraw will occur. In the event that a redraw is required it will be held at 12pm on Monday 20th May 2013 in the Erdigroup office, 195 Swanston Street, Melbourne, Victoria and the redraw winner will be notified by email and telephone.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
The information that entrants provide will only be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting research and administering the competition, except where express consent to receive marketing offers has been given. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their contact details for the purpose of notifying competition winners. The Promoter will not use or disclose entrant’s personal information to any third party in accordance with its privacy policy.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by the Promoter as intended, whether because of computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which in the Promoter’s opinion affects the administration of the competition, security, fairness or integrity, the Promoter may in its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the competition.
The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking the prize or entering into this competition. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability or any goods or services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winner and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winner.
