The competition opens on 29 January 2013 at 12.01am AEDST.
The competition closes on 10 February at 11.59pm AEDST.
One winner will be chosen at random on 12 February 2013 at 10.00am AEDST. The draw will take place at ASOS, Suite 403, 45 Lime Street Sydney NSW 2000.
The prize is valued at RRP $1,000 and consists of two Au $500 voucher codes for use on asos.com/au.

The two Au $500 voucher codes will be supplied to the winner via email, in the form of two alphanumeric strings that can be entered in the “Promo code” field during the checkout purchase on asos.com/au. Each voucher code may only be used once and must be used on basket values of $500 or more. Voucher codes will be valid until 10 May 2013.
The winner will be notified by email within 12 hours of the draw. The names of the prize winner (and their suburb if residing in South Australia) will be published in The Australian on 15 February 2013.
Winners will have until 12 May 2013 to respond to the email and confirm their eligibility in order to claim their prize.
If any of the entrants selected are un-contactable or unable to accept the prize for any reason, a second chance draw will be conducted in the same format and location as the original draw at 10.00am AEDST on 14 May 2013. Winners of the second chance draw will be by notified by email within 12 hours of the draw.

This competition is valid in Australia only.

If you are 18 years or over and are not an employee or agent of ASOS.com (or the employee’s or agent’s family), then you can enter this competition. We may ask for proof of age or identity at the finalist stage, just to be sure. Using false details will result in disqualification.

There is no purchase or payment of any kind necessary. A purchase or payment will not increase your chances of winning.

As this is an online competition, it is necessary for you to have access to the internet and to have an active email address.

It is possible to enter the competition more than once, but please be aware that you cannot win more than one prize within each competition. By submitting your entry, you warrant that your entry is an original work, belongs to you and has not been copied from others, and does not violate the rights of any other person or entity.

JUDGING:

If we run a competition where the entries will be judged, and a winner is then chosen, the entries will be judged by an independent judge, or a panel including one independent judge.

If we run a competition with a prize draw, then winners will be selected from all the valid qualifying entries by a random draw, in Australia.

ASOS’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize only includes what is expressly stated to be part of the prize and is not transferable. No cash alternative is available.

WINNERS:

You are responsible for providing us with accurate and up-to-date contact details. We will not be liable for any failure, delay or inability to contact you.
In some circumstances you will need to provide a valid delivery address in order to receive your prize.

If you are a potential winner, we will contact you at the email address you provided, or we will contact you through other means which are specified in the Special Terms and Conditions. We will contact you within 48 hours of the competition closing and we may ask you to verify your personal details.
If you have not replied within 72 hours, or you don’t meet the eligibility requirements we mentioned above, we reserve the right to withdraw a potential prize.

PRIZES:

Prizes cannot be exchanged or substituted for a cash alternative, except at the sole discretion of ASOS.

Prizes are subject to availability and may be subject to a sponsor’s or supplier’s terms and conditions, which will be communicated in the Special Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to amend prizes or the terms of the competition if the need arises.

In the case where event tickets are awarded as a prize, it is not possible to sell or give these on to a third party. Unless otherwise stated, travel and/or accommodation will not be provided for the event. If you are unable to attend, the prize will be forfeited and retained to be distributed to the next placed entry.

If your prize involves travelling to another country, it is your responsibility to arrange visas if necessary. We do not have any information on travel visas, nor will we become involved in the arrangement of these.

If your prize involves attending an event, be aware that unless otherwise stated we accept no responsibility for the organisation or monitoring of the event. We shall not be liable for any event that is cancelled by a third party.
