Competition Terms and Conditions
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
NSW PERMIT NUMBER:
The following terms and conditions apply for IMB and The Block Watch, Listen and WIN Promotion.
1. Duration
The competition will run Sunday, 3rd February through until Monday 18th March 2013 weekdays.
This will run on WIN Television any day Sunday-Wednesdays with viewers able to enter the
correct phrase until Thursdays at 12pm. The winner will be drawn on Thursdays after 12pm and
announced anywhere between the hours of 6.00am and 9.00am on i98.

The promoter and client reserve the right to post-pone or forfeit the competition at any time during
this period, at their discretion, and no correspondence will be entered into.
2. Method of Entry
During any one episode of The Block All Stars on WIN Television each week (Sunday-
Wednesday), viewers will be shown a code phrase featuring the word ‘better’. Viewers are then
encouraged to go to the i98FM website (www.i98.com.au) where they will be directed to a microsite
and can enter the phrase (to be closed off at 12pm Thursdays). i98FM will then randomly
draw a winner with the correct phrase each week. Viewers/Listeners are encouraged to listen to
the i98FM Breakfast show on Friday morning between 6am and 9am, where i98FM breakfast
announcers will call the winner for the week.
All correct entries from throughout the competition will go into the major prize draw to win $7,000.
The winner will then be announced with Marty and Bianca following the finale of The Block All
Stars.
The judge’s decision in this competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
3. Competition Mechanic / Judging
Across the six week period that The Block All Stars is airing on WIN Television, WIN Television
and i98FM will conduct a Watch, Listen and Win style promotion for the chance to win a weekly
prize of $500 cash and a major prize of $7,000 thanks to the IMB!
One night per week during the series, a phrase featuring the word ‘better’ will air during The Block
All Stars. The audience then needs to go to the i98 website and follow the link to enter the
phrase. Entries will close on Thursday 12pm and Friday morning during the i98FM Breakfast
Show, Marty and Bianca will call a correct entrant and award them with $500 cash.
Following the finale of The Block All Stars, all correct entries from throughout the competition will
go into the major prize draw to win $7,000. The winner will then be announced with Marty and
Bianca.
The judge’s decision in this competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. Eligibility
Any person may enter the IMB and The Block Watch, Listen and WIN Promotion
competition. However if the winner of the prize is UNDER 16 years of age, it will be awarded to
their parent or guardian.
5. Prizes
All prize values are will be in the form of a cheque from i98FM thanks to IMB.
There is a weekly prize of $500 (five hundred) to be given away each week throughout The Block
All Stars (6 weeks in total) during this promotion.
The major prize is $7,000 (seven thousand) to be given away on the Monday following The Block
All Stars Finale.
Total value of all prizes for this promotion = $10,000
The winners must collect their cheques from i98FM/WIN Television, located on Television Ave in
Mt St Thomas, NSW 2500
14 working days must be allowed for the cheque to be drawn up. i98FM will contact winners once
their cheque is ready to collect.
6. Notification
All prize winners will be notified by announcement ‘on air’ and will be called as specified in clause
3 above.
Winner’s details may be published.
7. Employees and their immediate families of WIN Radio Pty Ltd, WIN Corporation Pty Limited and
IMB are ineligible to enter.
8. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned including but not limited to
technical failures, transmission, unauthorized intervention, computer virus, mobile phone failures,
tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of WIN Radio Pty Ltd and WIN
Television Pty Ltd which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or
proper conduct of this competition, WIN Television and i98FM reserves the right in their sole
discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel,
terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
9. The Promoters (WIN Television and i98FM) are not responsible for any problems or technical
malfunction of any telephone network or lines, transmission, computer on line systems, servers,
or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems of the phone or of any phone
network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other
person's phone related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any
communication or of any materials in this competition.
10. The Promoters (WIN Television and i98FM) collect entrants' personal information in order to
conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties,
including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as
required, to Australian regulatory authorities. If the information requested is not provided, the
entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise
advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoters (WIN Television and i98FM) may use this
information to request permission from the entrant to use the information for future promotional,
marketing and publicity purposes. A request to access, update or correct any information should
be directed to the i98FM at Television Avenue, Mt St Thomas, Wollongong, NSW, 2500. The
entrant's personal information is subject to i98FM’s Privacy Policy which is available at the above
