Everyday Rewards BIG W Mambo promotion

1. Information on how to enter the Promotion and a description of the prizes that may be won in the Promotion form part of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Entries not complying with these Terms & Conditions of Entry are ineligible and the Promoter reserves its absolute right to disqualify any Cardholder from the Promotion if any entries do not comply with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.

2. The Promotion is open to all members who have registered for the Everyday Rewards Program. Entry into the Promotion is free.  Directors, management and employees of Salmat Digital Pty Ltd and its agencies directly associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.
Terms & Conditions of Entry will be displayed on the Everyday Rewards website, www.bigw.com.au  and available at all BIG W stores excluding Tasmania at the commencement of the Promotion.

3. Definitions within this Promotion:
Card - means an Everyday Rewards Card issued by the Promoter as part of the Everyday Rewards Program

Cardholder - means a person who holds an Everyday Rewards Card, and who is Registered according to the Everyday Rewards Program database. 

Participating stores - means BIG W stores nationally promoting the Everyday Rewards program.

Promotion - means the Everyday Rewards Win a trip to the Margaret River Surf Pro governed by these Terms & Conditions of Entry and conducted as a promotion under the Other Benefits component of the Everyday Rewards Program.

Promotional - Period means 08:00 AEDST on Thursday 24th January, 2013 to 23:59 AEDST on Thursday 7th February, 2013.

Promoter - The Promoter and Permit holder is Woolworths Limited ABN 88 000 014 675 of 1 Woolworths Way, Bella Vista, NSW, 2153

Registered - means that all mandatory Cardholder information has been correctly completed in the legal name of the Cardholder, according to the Everyday Rewards database.

4. The Promotion commences AEDST 08:00 on Thursday, 24th January, 2013, & entries close 23:59 AEDST on Thursday 7th February, 2013. (“Promotion Period”).

5. To enter the Promotion purchase any Mambo branded product during the promotional period at BIG W instore or online and swipe your registered card or enter your card number prior to finalising the transaction. One entry will be recorded for each purchase transaction; a maximum of one entry per Card will be recorded for any transactions within a single calendar day. If participant is under 18 years’ old, they must first obtain permission from their parent or legal guardian before entering the Promotion.

6.   Breaking a single transaction into multiple amounts for use with one or more Cards is not permitted, and will void all Promotion entries attributable to such Cardholders.

7.   Prize winner will be determined by an automated random draw of all valid entries received by the Promoter in the entry period for the promotion. The Prize draws will take place at 12:00 noon AEDST Wednesday 13th February, 2013 at Salmat Digital Pty Ltd, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060.

8.  The first valid entry drawn will win the Major Prize and the next ten entries drawn will win the minor prizes.  All Prize winners will be contacted by phone within 2 days of the draw and in writing within 7 days of the draw. The major prize winner will have their first initial, surname and state published in The Australian newspaper on Thursday 21st February, 2013. All winners will have their first initial, surname and state published on the Everyday Rewards website within 7 days of the determination of the winners. If any winning entry is invalid, that entry will be discarded and the Prize will be awarded by randomly drawing another entry in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of entry.

9. Each Prize must be taken as stated. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. No correspondence will be entered into. No compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the Prize as stated.     

10. All prices states are the recommended retail value as at Thursday, 6 December 2012 and will be awarded regardless of any price changes.

11. The one (1) major prize is to attend the Margaret River Surf Pro (in Margaret River WA running 16th – 24th March, 2013) for the winner and 3 companions, which is redeemable for the prize dates only. It excludes all travel and personal insurances and spending money. The winner is responsible for surcharges, fees and taxes of awarded travel or accommodation booked by redeeming their prize. Compliance with immigration, health or other government requirements and conditions are the responsibility of the winner.
The major prize is valued at $9,225.00 and comprises of the following:
• 5 nights accommodation at the four and a half star Margaret River Resort. (Accommodation is valued at $2,725.00). Prize excluding meals, room service, additional bedding or other services provided by the hotel.
• 4 x Economy airfares from any capital city in Australia to the value of $2,800.00.
• Car hire for 6 days for a medium sized car, inclusive of basic insurance. The cost of fuel is not included. To the value of $700.
• 4 x Gold Margaret River merchandise packs (hoodie, t-shirt & cap). Total value at $600.00. To be provided at the event.
• 4 x Corporate VIP Passes which includes a site tour (and the opportunity to meet profile surfers), parking and Lunch at the Event only. Total Value $600 per person. Total value of passes $2400.00. All other meals are excluded.   

Prize excludes transfers to and from the airport, spending money and travel insurance. The vehicle responsibility remains with the winner.

Air tickets are available on the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos and availability. Flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airlines departure city and their current flight schedule.  Frequent Flyer points are not available from any airline.

A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued they are non-changeable.

It is the traveller’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the traveller/s.

There are ten (10) minor prizes. Each minor prize (Margaret River merchandise pack) comprises of a Mambo Clothing and Accessories pack (valued at $200.00 ea). Total value of all ten (10) minor prize packs is $2000.00.

The total prize value for the promotion is $11,225.00

12. If the major prize winner does not claim their prize within 7 days from the date of determination of that winner, their entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draws as are necessary subject to regulatory authority. The major winner unclaimed prize draw will take place at 12:00 noon AEDST on Wednesday, 20th February 2013 at Salmat Digital Pty Ltd, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney NSW 2060. If in the case of an unclaimed prize draw. The prize winner will be contacted by phone within 2 days of the draw and in writing within 7 days of the draw. The winner’s names (first initial and surname), state and store of purchase will be published in the Australian newspaper on Wednesday 27th February, 2013. If a minor prize winner does not claim their prize within 3 months from the date of determination of that winner, their entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter may conduct such further draws as necessary subject to regulatory authority. The unclaimed prize draw will take place on 22nd May, 2013 at 12 noon AEST at Salmat Digital Pty Ltd, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney, 2060 NSW.  If in the case of an unclaimed prize draw, the winner will be contacted by phone within 2 days and in writing within 7 days and their name, state and participating store will be published on the Everyday Rewards website within 7 days of the determination of the winners.

13. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning of the prizes.  Independent financial advice should be sought.

14. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify all entries from any Cardholder who is in breach of the Terms & Conditions of Entry or the Terms and Conditions of the Everyday Rewards Program or who manipulates, seeks to manipulate or benefits from manipulating, the entry process or the Promotion.

15. The Promoter and its agencies and companies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained (including without limitation to that caused by any person's negligence) relating to the Promotion or the awarding or taking of the prizes except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability is limited to the minimum amount allowable by law).

16. The Promoter may use any personal information that a Cardholder has provided to it as part of the Everyday Rewards Program for the purpose of running the Promotion, and also in advertisements, publications, media statements and other promotional material associated with the Promotion. For purposes of public statements and advertisements the Promoter will only publish the winner’s names (Surname and initial), the state and store. The Promoter may disclose the information for those purposes to its related bodies corporate and contractors. Unless the Cardholder has opted-out of communication within their Registration, the Promoter may use personal information a Cardholder has provided to send the Cardholder information about Woolworths' products and services (including via electronic means), and may disclose the information to its related bodies corporate, agencies and contractors (including call centers, advertising agencies and direct mail houses) the Promoter engages for that purpose.  In most cases you can gain access to your personal information by contacting the General Manager Corporate Services, Woolworths Limited, PO Box Q70, QVB, Post Shop Sydney 1230 or phone the Woolworths  Privacy Helpline  on 1300 134 802.  The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act (Cth) 1988.  A copy of the Promoter's privacy policy can be viewed at the Website.  To request access to, or to update, personal information the Promoter holds about them, entrants can contact the Promoter in writing at Everyday Rewards, PO Box 8000, Baulkham Hills NSW 2153.

17. In the event there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
