Innovative wine styles and authentic Italian intspired food, live entertainment and that distinctly Italian family feel all combine to make this a unique event that reflects the region's passions and lifestyle.

About Weekend fit for a King
This event celebrates and showcases all that the King Valley embodies. Taste the innovative wine styles the region has become known for, including Italian varieties such as Sangiovese, Barbera, Pinot Grigio and Prosecco.
Savour the foods that many of the winemaking families have grown up with, including handmade pastas, wood fired pizzas, seafood and authentic Italian desserts. Experience welcoming hospitality at family owned wineries and immerse yourself in the heritage of the King Valley with music, activities and a relaxed festive atmosphere.
We think you'll be captured by the Italian spirit that permeates the King Valley landscape.
To be part of the event simply buy a $15 souvenir tasting glass from the wineries (or the Wangaratta Visitor Information Centre) in the weeks leading up the to festival. Participating wineries include:

Prize is one of two mixed half cases of King Valley wines as described above. (RRP A$135 plus freight.) We regret these prizes can only be sent around Australia as wine cannot be sent overseas.
This competition is open to all VisitVineyards.com subscribers and Members over the age of 18. Entries open 17th April 2013 and close midnight Monday 10th June 2013.
