RAA Win Free Fuel for a Year Promotion 2013
1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of the conditions of entry.
2. All employees of the promoter and its related bodies corporate are ineligible to enter.
3. The competition commences on 12 August 2013 and finishes on 3 October 2013
4. Eligibility criteria applies: Entrants must be full financial RAA Members
5. The competition consists of three prizes worth $4,160. A total prize value of $12,480. If a member drawn is a Premium or Plus member, they will receive an additional Car Care Pack valued at $500– increasing the total value of the prize to $13,980.
6. All prize values are in Australian dollars.
7. Each winner will receive:
a. 52 weeks of fuel vouchers valued at $80 each, a total of $4,160 worth of fuel vouchers. Supplier of the vouchers is determined by RAA
b. If the member drawn is a Premium or Plus member they will also receive an additional $500 Car Care Pack
c. If the member drawn residential address is located more than 50km from RAA’s supplier of the fuel vouchers an alternative petrol station located within 50km will be selected.
8. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
9. To enter, new members will automatically go into the draw when they join. Current Members must complete the entry form in store or the entry form featured on the RAA competitions page (
www.raa.com.au/competitions).
10. The winner will be drawn through a random electronic process.
11. The draw will take place at the RAA, 101 Richmond Rd, Mile End at 10am Tuesday 15 October 2013. The first entry drawn that fulfils the competition entry criteria will win the prize.
12. The winner must be a current full financial member at the time of the draw.
13. The winner will be notified by mail and phone within 14 days of the draw date with the winner’s name published in The Advertiser on 30 October 2013.
14. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or taken for cash.
15. The winner has 28 days to claim the prize.
16. If the prize is unclaimed, an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted on Friday 28 March 2014.
17. The promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
a. inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information;
b. purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, sent with insufficient postage (where entry is by post), or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions;
c. any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
d. the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website;
e. unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
f. electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
g. any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner; or
h. any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant's or any other person's computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
19. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
