There are six books on the voting shortlist. Vote for the book you feel deserves to be named as Queensland Book of the Year. All voters go into a draw to win one of twenty sets of the shortlisted books.

1. Voting commences 27 July 2013, and ends 11.59pm 30 August 2013.
2. Entry is only valid via the online voting form.
3. Participants must complete the online entry form with their name, address, contact phone number, and contact email address.
4. Participants are to select their favourite book from the shortlist provided.
5. Entry is open to people of all ages.
6. Only one vote per email address will be accepted.
7. 20 names will be randomly drawn from the list of voters and these people will receive a prize pack of the six shortlisted books.
8. The winners of the book prize packs will be drawn on 4 September 2013. Winners will be notified by email.
9. Prize packs will be posted to the winners.
10. The winner of the The Courier-Mail People’s Choice Queensland Book of the Year will be announced on 4 September 2013.
11. Queensland Literary Awards Inc and The Courier-Mail advises that contact details gathered through the voting process will remain private and only be used to promote upcoming events and programs of both organisations.
