Instructions on “How to Enter” form part of these Conditions of Entry. The competition is open to all permanent residents of Australia except employees of the Promoter, their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion. Entrants under the age of 18 years must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian to be eligible to enter.
The promotion commences at 9.00am (AEST) on 01/07/13 and closes at 5.00pm AEST on 30/09/13.
To be eligible, Entrants must purchase any product from the Goanna range including, Heat Cream, Arthritis Cream, Oil Liniment, Tea Tree Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Balm or New Diclofenac Anti-Inflammatory Pain Relief Gel during the promotional period. Then enter online at
www.grabthegoanna.com. Entrants will be required to complete the online entry form including their name, address, phone number and the product barcode per product purchase.
Only one (1) entry is permitted per product purchase per household per day. Entrants must retain their receipt as proof of purchase. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
There will be one (1) major prize winner and five (5) minor prize winners. The first valid entry drawn will receive $5,000.00 AUD credited into his/her nominated bank account or in the form of a cheque made payable to the winner and mailed to them at the winners nominated address. The next five (5) valid entries drawn will each receive $1,000.00 AUD credited into his/her nominated bank account or in the form of a cheque made payable to the winner and mailed to the winners nominated address. The total promotional prize pool value is $10,000.00 AUD. All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
The draw will take place at Level 3, Building 10, 658 Church Street, Richmond VIC 3121, Australia at 11.59am AEST on the 04/10/13. All valid entries received within the Promotional Period will be entered into prize draw.
All winners will be notified by telephone and in writing within 2 working days of the prize draws and the winners names will be published on the Goanna website located at
www.grabthegoanna.com and in The Australian on 11/10/13. In the event the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent/legal guardian.
It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure the promoter has the correct contact information.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable.
If necessary, the promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw at the same time and place as the original draws on the 06/01/14 (being at least 3 months after the date of the last draw) in order to distribute any unclaimed prizes. All non-winning entries will be included in the unclaimed prize draw. In the event of a winner in the unclaimed prize draw, the winner will be notified via phone and writing within two (2) working days of the draw and their names published on the promoters website at
www.grabthegoanna.com and in The Australian on 13/01/14.
The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify the promotion. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt in the Promotional database and not time of transmission by the Entrant. Email is not a guaranteed delivery communication tool. The Promoter cannot accept responsibility for any email messages not received.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Conditions of Entry; and/or (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant.
All entries become the property of the Promoter.
The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry and other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the Promoter’s discretion, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way with interfering or tampering with the conduct of the promotion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Details from entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant.
