5 x Double Passes to The British Film Festival (Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, Byron Bay, Adelaide, Brisbane)

Catch some of the best new flicks from the Brits at the inaugural British Film Festival.

From powerful kitchen sink dramas and gritty gangster flicks to stylish period pieces and crowd-pleasing comedies, the Brits have one thriving cinema scene, and that will be on display at the inaugural British Film Festival in Australia. Just a selection of program highlights include One Chance, which chronicles the funny and moving backstory of opera singer, Paul Potts, who won 2007’s Britain’s Got Talent; the touching dramedy, Philomena, starring Judi Dench and Steve Coogan; the thought-provoking political thriller, Closed Circuit; the funny, profane and very entertaining Dom Hemingway, starring Jude Law and Richard E. Grant; and the critic’s favourite, Le Week-end, starring Jim Broadbent and Lindsay Duncan as a couple trying to revitalise their thirty-year marriage.

For your chance to win a double pass to the festivities, simply check out the program and tell us which flick you would use the tickets for, and why. Send your answer to filmink@filmink.com.au, along with your full name and address.

The British Film Festival will play in Canberra (Nov 9-Dec 1), Melbourne (Nov 20- Dec 1), Sydney (Nov 21-Dec 1), Byron Bay (Nov 21-Nov 27), Adelaide (Nov 22-Dec 1), Brisbane (Nov 27-Dec 8.] For more information and to purchase tickets, head here.

Closing date: November 20, 2013
