The prize draw will take place on the 19th December at MDSA, 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay, 2089, NSW. The winner will be notified by email. The total prize is valued at $3,368. SUPER ANTIOXIDANT CHALLENGE COMPETITION- CONDITION OF ENTRY
Acceptance of conditions
1. Information regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions. By entering, entrants accept these conditions.
Restrictions on entry 2. Entry is open only to residents of Australia who are aged 18 years or over, and who are not directors, management or employees (or members of the immediate families of directors, management or employees) of the Promoter or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition.
Duration of competition 3. The competition begins at 10.00am (AEDT) on 18 November 2013 and closes 5.00pm (AEDT) 18 December 2013 (Competition Period).
Method of Entry 4. To enter, entrants must, during the Competition Period register their details at go.comvita.com/superantioxidantchallenge/au including their first name, last name, email address and phone number and agree to the Terms and Conditions of the competition (“Eligible Entrant”).
Eligible Entrants may only register once for this competition. Registering for the competition will entitle the Eligible Entrant to one entry in the draw.
Eligible entrants will receive 10 additional entries in the draw when they click to share the competition on their Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Eligible entrants will receive 50 additional entries in the draw for each transaction purchase made at comvita.com.au or olea.com.au during the Competition Period
Entrants are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the internet.
Entrants acknowledge that all content posted on Facebook must be in accordance with the Facebook terms (http://www.facebook.com/terms.php).
Any offensive, defamatory, misleading, disruptive statements or images posted on the Comvita Australia Facebook page in relation to this competition will deem an Entrant’s entry invalid.
The use of any automated entry software or any mechanical, electronic or other means that allows an Entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that Entrant invalid.
5. All entries must be received by the Promoter during the Competition Period. Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received by the Promoter’s database and not at the time of submission by the entrant. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over communications networks or lines and is not liable for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation)
costs incurred. Entrants who enter using multiple email addresses or aliases may be
disqualified.
Draw details
6. There will be one Major Prize draw conducted at MDSA, 15 Grosvenor Street,
Neutral Bay NSW 2089 at 11.00am (AEDT) on 19 December 2013.
All Eligible Entries received during the Competition Period will be entered into the
draw. The first Eligible Entry drawn will be the winner and will receive the Major
Prize. The winner will be notified in writing by email, announced on
go.comvita.com/superantioxidantchallenge/au, and published in The Australian
newspaper on 2 January 2014.
Prize details
7. The first eligible entry drawn from all entries received during the Competition
Period will receive the Major Prize which includes;
 12 months of healthy / organic groceries supplied in the form of weekly
(organic family box) hampers valued at $59/week from Aussie Farmers
(maximum retail value is $3,068), or
In the case that a winner lives outside the Aussie Farmer’s delivery area, the
winner will receive 12 months of healthy / organic groceries supplied in the
form of a $ 3,000 gift card from Coles or Woolworths (depending on the
winner’s preference) as a substitute (maximum retail value is $3,000)
 Mediterranean cookbook of the Promoter’s (maximum retail value is $50)
 Blue Zones book (by Dan Buettner) (maximum retail value is $50)
 12 month supply of Olive Leaf Extract (maximum retail value $200)
8. All portions of the prize are subject to the terms and conditions as imposed by the
prize supplier. The Major Prize must be taken by 1 January 2015.
Prize Pool
9. The maximum total prize pool is valued at $3,368.
Publicity
10. The prize winner must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in all promotional
activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of any prize, free
of charge, and consent to the Promoter using their name and image in promotional
material.
Exclusion of liability
11. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for
any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of
profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained
(whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this
competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be
excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by
law).
12. Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage in transit to prizes, or for any consequences of the winner or any of their companions not complying with any applicable laws and regulations regarding the use of the car (including but not limited to driving while intoxicated).
Facebook 13. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Each entrant completely releases Facebook from any and all liability.
Awarding prizes 14. The Promoter may require winner to provide proof of identity, proof of age, and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion.
Disqualification of entries 15. If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of that prize will be determined by drawing a further Eligible Entry in accordance with condition 6. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the competition or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. The Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel a prize or otherwise cease to provide any benefit of the prize to the prize winner if the winner (or any of their companions), in the opinion of the Promoter, is under the influence of alcohol or any other drug, behaves aggressively or offensively, or behaves in a manner which may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related bodies corporate or the agencies or companies associated with this competition, is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate.
Changes in prize value 17. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If a prize winner does not take an element of their prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited and cash will not be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. Where a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute for that prize another item of equal or higher value as determined by the Promoter, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state and territory, where required.
Problems affecting competition 18. If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state
and territory, where required.
Unclaimed prize draw 19. In the event of a prize not being accepted or claimed within 3 months of the relevant draw, the relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to conduct such further draws at 10am (AEST) on 2 April 2014 at the same location as the original draw/s as are necessary to distribute the prize/s, subject to any requirements of any gaming authority. Any winner in this draw will be notified by phone and in writing within 2 days and will have their name and state/territory of residence published in The Australian newspaper on 9 April 2014.
Tax statement
20. The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where this competition involves, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants will follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
Privacy statement 21. All entries will be the property of the Promoter. The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this competition. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this competition or communicating with entrants and to State and Territory gaming authorities and winners’ names may be published as required under the relevant legislation. The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. Entrants can request access to the personal information the Promoter holds about them by contacting the Promoter at the below address. If the entrant has marked the “opt-in” box on the online entry form, the entrant consents to the storage of their personal information on the Promoter’s database and the Promoter may use this information for future promotional and marketing purposes regarding the Promoter’s products including contacting the entrant via electronic messaging.
