Bad Education follows Alfie Wickers – the worst teacher to ever (dis)grace the British education system. Hungover, potty-mouthed, politically incorrect, disorganised and dishevelled, Alfie is the slacker of the classroom - and he’s meant to be in charge! He’s a maverick and his rag tag group of students love the chaos and unconformity that he brings to the classroom.
As well as Alfie, Abbey Grove is populated by some equally weird and wonderful teaching talent. Mathew Horne (Gavin and Stacey) plays Fraser, the Head Teacher whose lines are more cringeworthy than David Brents'. Sarah Solemani (Him and Her) is the seductive Head of Biology and woman of Alfie’s dreams and Michelle Gomez (Green Wing) is Miss Pickwell – the Deputy Headmistress with all the charms of the Gestapo.
