This Competitions Policy applies to all competitions or contests (the Competition(s)) run by Student Edge Pty Ltd ACN 116 154 904 (Student Edge) or its related bodies corporate.

    A Competition may have a set of rules specific to that Competition (Contest Rules), in which case:
        1.
        the Competition will be governed by both this Competition Policy and the Contest Rules;
        1.
        the Contest Rules will be made available on the Student Edge website operating under the URL studentedge.com.au (the Site);
        1.
        to the extent that there is inconsistency between this Competition Policy and the Contest Rules, the Contest Rules will prevail; and
        1.
        a person who enters a Competition agrees to be bound by both this Competition Policy and, if in effect, the Contest Rules for that Competition.
    Failure by Student Edge to follow or uphold this Competition Policy and/or any Contest Rules will not give rise to a claim by any person.
    Every Competition will be conducted (and a winner(s) determined) at the absolute discretion of Student Edge. The decision of the Judge(s) (as appointed by Student Edge) is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

    Entry to each Competition is open to all residents of Australia, except:
        4.
        any person who does not meet the eligibility requirements of the Competition which may be specified in the Contest Rules;
        4.
        any person who does not give complete or correct registration or other details requested by Student Edge upon entering into, or during the course of, a Competition;
        4.
        employees, servants, agents, sub-contractors or those employed by sub-contractors of Student Edge and their immediate family (including, but not limited to, their parents, siblings, children, and de facto partners (Immediate Family));
        4.
        employees, servants or agents and their Immediate Family of the companies that are providing the prize(s) for each Competition as may be, but not necessarily, specified in the Contest Rules;
        4.
        any other person who Student Edge (in its absolute discretion) deems ineligible to enter into a Competition. This may include, but is not limited to, person(s) who have previously won a prize(s) in any Competition(s) run by Student Edge; or
        4.
        persons under the age of 18 where a Competition's prize(s) consists of alcohol and/or the provision of a vehicle.
    Any person who is found to have given incorrect information when entering a Competition, or any previous Competition, is immediately disqualified from entering any further Competitions. If a person is discovered to have given incorrect information in relation to a Competition that is still running (or a winner has yet to be decided or found), such person will be immediately disqualified and/or removed from that Competition and all other Competitions currently being run by Student Edge.
    Any person who enters a Competition (an Entrant) and is awarded a prize(s), and who is subsequently deemed ineligible for that Competition by reason of any of clauses 4 or 5 above, may be required, at the discretion of Student Edge, to forfeit, return, refund, or otherwise make restitution of the prize(s).
    All prizes for every Competition must be claimed in person by the winning Entrant (or a nominated representative of the winning Entrant) who must provide some form of official photo identification (for example a driver's licence or passport) sufficient to satisfy Student Edge (acting reasonably) that the person is entitled to claim the prize.

    If a Competition winner is under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian of the winner must also be present when claiming and must:
        8.
        provide photo identification; and
        8.
        sign and endorse their acceptance of a copy of this Competition Policy, the Contest Rules (if any) and/or any other agreement relevant to the Competition.
    Any person claiming a prize may be required to sign and endorse their acceptance of this Competition Policy, the Contest Rules (if any) and/or any other agreement relevant to the Competition.
    Each prize must be claimed within 1 month from the date of winning, unless otherwise agreed or specified by Student Edge.
        10.
        Student Edge will make every reasonable effort to contact a Competition winner, however if the winner does not respond and accept the prize within 7 calendar days or within a period otherwise specified by Student Edge, Student Edge reserves the right to award the prize(s) to the runner up.
    All prize(s) not claimed for any reason within the time frame specified in the Contest Rules (including for the reasons set out in clauses 7, 8, 9 and/or 10 above) will be deemed to be forfeited or abandoned by the winner and will be dealt with according to legislative requirements.

    Every Competition prize:
        12.
        if in the form of something other than cash, are in no way redeemable or transferable for cash;
        12.

    Any cost associated with, consequential upon, and/or otherwise resulting from the acceptance, claiming, ownership use, attempted use and/or enjoyment of the prize(s), including but not limited to any taxes or charges, are to be met by the winner.
