Terms and Conditions for “TIE THE KNOT WEDDING PROMOTION ”
The Gympie Times
Method of entry: Contestants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. To enter, Contestants must post an entry form from The Gympie Times published either Saturday, Wednesday & Friday each week from Wednesday January 7, 2014 to February 26, 2014 along with four (4) tokens published daily from Wednesday January 1, 2014 to Wednesday February 26, 2014. Entry forms and tokens must be original newsprint, no photocopies, scanned images, web prints, reproductions or other falsified artwork will be accepted. Entries must include a photograph of the entrant. Each completed entry form and 4 tokens must be placed in an envelope marked "TIE THE KNOT WEDDING COMPETITION" and then:
(a) send by pre-paid post to The Gympie Times 44 Nash Street, Gympie QLD 4570 (so it is received before the closure time)
(b) Delivered to The Gympie Times 44 Nash Street, Gympie QLD 4570.
(c) 7 entrants will be selected by random draw on Tuesday March 4, 2013 at 10am
(d) 7 entrants must be present at the Gympie Bridal EXPO on Sunday March 9, 2014 at 2pm located at the Gympie Civic Centre. The 7 entrants will be granted Free entry to the Gympie Bridal EXPO. (e) The 7 entrants will each draw a coupon from the barrel and the entrant who draws out the clearly marked 'TIE THE KNOT' coupon will be deemed the winner.
Contestants may submit more than one entry throughout the promotional period, however will only be allowed one entry into the final coupon draw.
2. Original Print
The Entry form and coupon must be original newsprint - no photocopies, scanned images, web prints, reproductions or other falsified artwork will be accepted.

3. Prize:
Judy Copley Bridal
1. Voucher to the value of $1500 may be used towards the purchase of a Judy Copley bridal gown, only when purchasing a gown worth over $3000.
2.The voucher is valid for this competition only. ...
3. Voucher can be redeemed in person only at the Judy Copley Bridal Studio at Golden Beach Caloundra.
4. Voucher cannot be used with any other promotional offer.
5. Order for gown must be placed at least 3 months before the gown is required.
6. Voucher is valid for a gown from the Judy Copley signature couture range only.
7. This voucher includes 3 fittings only.
Gympie Blooms
Supply flowers to the value of $500. If couple would like extra it is at own expense.
Amore Wedding Decorators
Decorate and supply all props and decorations needed for the ceremony and reception to the value of $3500.
Janine Newton
Professional Officiating Celebrant services to the value of $500, for a wedding ceremony with the provision that all legal requirements are met by the couple. The prize is not redeemable for cash or exchangeable. The bride and groom have the choice of vows, ring ceremony, readings, extra exclusions are at the couples expense.
Linc Phelps
Solo Acoustic Entertainment for the reception. A total of 4 hours performance time(including breaks) can be spread over the length of the reception. Sound & lighting supplied as well as a wireless microphone for speeches. Valued at $600.
Hair Review
A Bridal Package for the bride. Package includes one full set of gel or acrylic nails, one spray tan, Hair trial before the wedding and Bridal Up-style on the wedding day. Valued at $270.
Kouture
One Trial and Wedding Day Makeup for Bride only. Including false lashes for both the trial and wedding day. Valued at $170.
Couture Bridal Headpiece to the value of $250
Extra products required by the bride, for touch-ups on the day, are at an extra cost to the winner.
Bridal Stylist/Coordinator - Kim Grills & Bambi Wixon
Three 1hr sessions prior to wedding to assist couple with wedding styling, themes, colour scheme and other suppliers.
Tracey Carty
Wedding cake to the value of $250.00.
Must be a wedding cake only. Colours to the bride and grooms choice. Basic flavours of Chocolate or white mud cake only included in the prize.
Mia Bella Jewellery
Wedding Ring voucher to the value of $1000.00. Purchases over and above will be at the expense of the winner.
Kingston House Impressions
Venue Hire which includes exclusive use of Kingston House, linen table cloths, set up and cleaning of Venue. June 6th 2014, 3pm – 12pm.
This prize only includes venue hire and winners who chose to accept this prize must pay for meal costs. Minimum cost to winner will be $40 per guest for main meal. Entrée, canapés or dessert with the purchase of a main meal for up to 60 guests. Value $1300.00
All liquor to be supplied by Kingston House Impressions. Prize not redeemable for cash, transferrable to another couple, or if currently booked in at Kingston House Impressions

Professional images provided as a high resolution digital collection on an archival USB drive. Approx 400 images. Total value $2950
Prize not redeemable for cash or transferrable if currently booked with PBB. Prints or albums are not included in prize and the winner will be responsible for printing (and its costs).
A condition of entry into this competition is that the Winner agrees to allow images of pre-prep and wedding day for marketing and promotional use including on its social media newsprint products.

4. Competition duration: The competition commences on 9am Wednesday 11th January 2014 and closes on Sunday 9th March 2014 at 2pm.
Entries received after the Closure Time will not be eligible.
5. Eligibility limitations:
Entrants must be over 18 years to be eligible. The prize value is inclusive of GST and the Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in item values. Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of a winner receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of that winner. Date for the wedding is 6th of June 2015. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. If the specified prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute a prize of similar nature and/or like or greater value.
The following persons are also ineligible to enter:
(i) employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter so far as they are directly associated with this competition; ( The Gympie Times)
(ii) the spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), of such employees and contractors (whether or not they live in the same household);
iii) Contestants who have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win any contest run by the Promoter except in the case of a legal change of name.
(iiii) employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter so far as they are directly associated with this competition; Judy Copley Bridal, Gympie Blooms , Amore Wedding Decorators, Janine Newton, Linc Phelps, Hair Review, Kouture , Tracey Carty, Mia Bella Jewellery, Kingston House Impressions, Photography By Bambi.
All Contestants acknowledge that even if the Promoter only learns of a person’s ineligibility after the Promoter has appeared to award the prize to the ineligible person, it may require the return of the prize or payment of its value to the Promoter to be dealt with as an unclaimed prize.
6. Draw and notification: 7 entrants will be selected by random draw at 10am Thursday 6th March 2014 at The Gympie Times Office 44 Nash Street. After confirming that they have included their 4 tokens and completed the entry form and a photo they will then be notified to be present for a lucky draw at the Gympie Bridal EXPO on Sunday March 9th 2014 at 2pm at the Gympie Civic Centre. The 7 entrants will each draw a coupon from a barrel and the one who draws out the Tie the Knot coupon will be deemed the winner.
Winner’s details will be published in The Gympie Times public notices on Wednesday the 12th 2014. All Contestants acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to publicise and publish his / her name, character and likeness. All contest winners must avail themselves for a photo if required by the Promoter and acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to utilise publicity photos in any reasonable manner it sees fit without compensation to the Contestant.
7. Prize collection: Prizes must be claimed in person. Upon request by the Promoter a copy of the general contest rules and/or a signed receipt and acknowledgement must be signed and endorsed by any winner to indicate his/her understanding and acceptance of these terms. It is the sole responsibility of the winner to claim their prizes.
8. Promoter's limitation of liability: The Promoter is not responsible for the loss of prizes due to incorrect or imprecise delivery details provided by a winner. The Promoter also takes no responsibility for prizes lost or stolen after they have been released for delivery via postage or courier. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability/merchantability of any of the goods/services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained by any person including, but not limited to consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to the prize winner(s) and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the winners.
9. Entries and privacy: All entries become and remain the property of The Gympie Times Pty Ltd (subject to the limits contained in the Privacy Statement).
