1. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter is Australia Pacific Airports (Melbourne) Pty Ltd, ABN 62 076 999 114, trading as Melbourne Airport of Terminal 2, Melbourne Airport, Victoria, hereafter referred to as ‘Melbourne Airport’ or ‘Promoter’.

Only one entry per person.4. An answer must be supplied for the question “Tell us in 25 words or less why you would like to travel to Brunei with Royal Brunei.” Appointed Melbourne Airport and Royal Brunei representatives will choose the winner according to the response to the question judged to be the best (in their absolute discretion) from all entries.
Royal Brunei Airlines airline tickets depart from Melbourne Airport to Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam and may not be changed, transferred or redeemed for cash.
Accommodation at Empire Hotel & Country Club, Brunei includes two (2) nights accommodation in a Deluxe room inclusive of breakfast for 2 persons only.
The prize does not include transfers to and from airports. Request for late check-out is strictly subject to availability on the day of departure and is chargeable as follows: 12pm-3pm – 50% of the agreed contract rate, 3pm onwards – 100% of the agreed contract rate.
5. Entries will be judged on 31/03/2014 at the offices of Melbourne Airport by representatives of Melbourne Airport and Royal Brunei. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.
6. To be eligible for the nominated prize,
the entry must be received by the Promoter on or before 13:00pm 31/03/2014 AEST.7. The prize is detailed on the Promoter's website at

Prize is estimated to be valued up to $5000 total.9. The winner will be notified by email and also by formal letter as part of the follow up, using the contact details supplied by you in the promotion.
Prizes may only be used in the time period specified by Royal Brunei Airlines. Some blackout periods may apply (see prizewinner letter for details). Flight ticket prizes and accommodation are also subject to the Royal Brunei Airlines relevant terms and conditions. Unless otherwise stipulated in writing by Melbourne Airport or Royal Brunei Airlines, the prizes specifically exclude all other items including but not limited to taxes in Brunei, passports, spending money, travel insurance, entry tickets, meals, Visa into Brunei or other similar costs. Melbourne Airport will not be held responsible for any delays, cancellations or amendments to travel plans or injuries incurred by the sole winner or any members of the travelling party of the winner when taking the prize.
It is the winner’s responsibility to have a valid passport with valid of no less than 6 months and to arrange any visa that might be required prior to travel.
10. Melbourne Airport will publish the winner’s name and the entrant’s answer to the competition question on its Facebook page. By submitting an entry into this competition, the entrant acknowledges that Melbourne Airport may use their personal information in this way and assigns all copyright in their competition answer to Melbourne Airport for this purpose.

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant or (f) use of the prize.

The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to subsidiary and related companies, third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and prize suppliers Royal Brunei. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter, Royal Brunei may use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant, unless you advise the Promoter that you do not wish to receive this material by ticking the relevant box at the time of entering the competition.
