THE Soweto Gospel Choir is touring Melbourne in June and July, and Frankston Leader, Waverley/Oakleigh-Monash Leader and Melbourne Leader readers have a chance to win double passes.

Win double passes to see the Soweto Gospel Choir with Leader Newspapers.
A 24-voice group, the Soweto Gospel Choir was formed to celebrate the unique and inspirational power of African Gospel music, drawing on the best talent from churches in and around Soweto.

Following the death of Nelson Mandela, they have participated in services around the world commemorating his life. Their Australian concerts are dedicated to his memory, and will include freedom songs and many of Mabida’s favourite hymns.

Their powerful and colourful performances have led to a range of awards, and they have collaborated and recorded with artists including Bono and U2, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Robert Plant and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

For more information, go to www.sowetogospelchoir.com

The Frankston Leader has three double passes to the Soweto Gospel Choir's 5pm performance at the Frankston Performing Arts Centre on Sunday June 29 to give away, the Waverley/Oakleigh-Monash Leader has three double passes to their 7.30pm performance at the Robert Blackwood Hall at Monash University on Saturday, July 12 to give away, and the Melbourne Leader has three double passes to their 5pm performance on Sunday, July 13 at Hamer Hall to give away.
