Stand-up comedian Denise Scott has been cracking jokes since the 1980s, spreading the love between the stage, television, books and radio. Now the Barry Award winner will be bringing her hilarious new show, Mother Bare, direct from Sydney Opera House to Brisbane Powerhouse this Wednesday August 20 to Sunday August 31. The ambitious gig covers all aspects of motherhood, from delivery room to flitting around an empty nest, as well as her experiences with her own mother. Honest and intimate, Mother Bare will dig into the bottomless well of stories that is motherhood, and fish out some corkers.
