Princess Cruises win a trip to Indonesia Terms and Conditions

1.Instructions on how to enter, prize details and other information contained within the promotional advertisements form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, in this promotion entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2.Only entries with the correct code word published in The West Australian between Monday 8 September 2014 and Saturday 20 September 2014 and entered via thewest.com.au/competitions with the Entrant’s contact details by midnight Sunday 21 September 2014 are valid
3.Entry is open to all residents of Western Australia over the age of 18. Passengers under the age of 18 travelling with a winner, must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian when collecting the prize. Photo identification may be required when claiming or collecting the prize.
4. The major prize winner will be drawn at 10am on Monday, 22 September 2014.
5. The first valid entry drawn at random will be deemed the major prize winner. The winner will receive the following prize:
-Balcony Cabin, Twin Share for 2 people - valued at $7,378
-15 night roundtrip cruise from Perth (Fremantle) around Indonesia on Dawn Princess, departing 14 April, 2015

6. All additional costs incurred, including transport to and from the cruise, will be at the expense of the winner. A credit-card imprint or cash deposit will be required from the prize winner at check-in in order to board the cruise ship, for all incidental charges.
7. The winner will be notified by telephone after the prize draw. In the instance that the winner cannot be contacted on the phone number provided by 8.30am Tuesday 23 September 2014, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be drawn.
8. The prize must be taken as supplied and is neither redeemable for cash nor transferable. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize.
9. The cruise must be taken on 14 April, 2015. If the winner and travelling companion are, for whatever reason, unable to travel on this date, or do not take an element of the cruise within the time stipulated then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner.
10. If the cruise is unavailable, Princess Cruises, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
11. Princess Cruises reserves the right to deny boarding to anyone that presents a risk to the health and safety of passengers. It is the sole responsibility of the winner and travel companion to ensure that they have valid travel documents, visas (if required), any necessary health or other insurance, and that they are fit to cruise and that they have no other medical conditions that could adversely affect them at any time during the use and enjoyment of the prize.
13. It is a condition of entry that all prize winners agree to have their name and suburb published for publicity purposes if required. By participating in this competition, participants signify their acceptance of all conditions and the requirement to participate in promotional activity if required.
14. On completion of the prize draw, databases which contain the competition entries will be kept by The West Australian for twelve months. This is a mandatory requirement of the Gaming and Wagering Act WA. All coupon entries will be destroyed after this time period.
15. Employees of, Princess Cruises and West Australian Newspaper Limited, their associated agencies and immediate families, are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
16. To the extent permitted by law, West Australian Newspapers Limited Group and Princess Cruises are not liable for any loss suffered or sustained, to any person or property and including, but not limited to consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by West Australian Newspapers Limited Group or Princess Cruises, or their servants, or agents in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply of any goods or services by any person to the prize winner, and where applicable, to any family or persons accompanying the winner.
17. All contestants release from, and indemnify Princess Cruises and West Australian Newspaper Limited against, all liability, costs, losses or expenses arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
18. Princess Cruises and West Australian Newspaper Limited and associated agencies accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, accident, death or injury resulting from the promotion.
19. Entry into this competition signifies acceptance of all conditions. The Promoters decision will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right to limit entry or amend rules if considered necessary without notice.
20. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw this promotion or any part of this promotion should its ability to fulfil due obligations be limited at any stage by any form of technical failure.
21. The Entrant consents to the use of the Entrant’s personal information by West Australian Newspapers Limited, its related corporations (as defined by the Corporations Act 2001), and Princess Cruises, and acknowledges that West Australian Newspapers Limited and related corporations, and Princess Cruises and related bodies corporate, may, at their discretion disclose and use those details for the purpose of providing them with goods or services, communicating with Entrants, planning, research, product and business development and sales, the competition and marketing (whether target, direct or indirect) of their businesses, services or products or those of a third party which it believes may be of benefit to them.
22. The details will also be used to investigate complaints, as required or permitted by any law, to enable West Australian Newspapers Limited, and Princess Cruises to perform their obligations under this or any other agreement and to ensure that an Entrant performs their obligations under this or any other agreement.
