he 500 year old Mexican civilisation comes to life with over 200 priceless artefacts, touch-screens and children’s activities that tell the story of the rise and fall of the ancient Aztec empire. Artefacts have been flown from Mexico’s major museums, with Sydney’s exhibition closely following a successful season in Melbourne.
Highlights include ceramic sculptures of Aztec gods, intricate models of Aztec gardens and marketplaces, as well as a scale model replica of Huey Teocalli – the most important Aztec temple and site considered to be the centre of the universe.
A special program of tours, talks and children’s activities will take place during the Aztecs exhibition, presented by Adventure World.
