http://nsw.netball.com.au/uncategorized/design-netball-nsw-mascot/Update 2/12/2014: As part of our move to the amazing Netball Central, the Netball NSW email systems were down for several days, due to this, the “Design the Netball NSW Mascot” competition has been extended to COB Friday 9 January 2015!
As Netball NSW moves into an exciting new era, the organisation wants a Mascot that represents everything we love about the sport of Netball in the State of New South Wales.
When attending netball and other relevant events around the NSW and even interstate, this Mascot will represent every one of the 113,000 registered Members of Netball NSW.
This Netball NSW Mascot will also be seen at every NSW Swifts home game, and along with the NSW Swifts’ Mascot “Sporty”, will be joining other supporters in the stands cheering on their favourite ANZ Championship team.
Netball NSW wants this Mascot to echo the passion we all feel towards netball, and that is why, Netball NSW would like a member of our wider netball community to design and name this Mascot!
Not only will the winning design see their vision come to life, but that person will win* a money-can’t-buy trip for two (2) to watch the NSW Swifts take on the Melbourne Vixens at the new Margaret Court Arena in the 2015 ANZ Championship on Sunday 24 May, 2015. There are also two Minor Prizes, each consisting of four (4) tickets to watch the NSW Swifts’ Allphones Arena BLOCKBUSTER against reigning Premiers, the Melbourne Vixens, on Sunday 3 May, 2014.
