Terms and Conditions
1. The promotion period commences on Wednesday 27th January 2016 and finishes
on Sunday 13th March 2016.
2. This promotion is open to all financial members of Currumbin RSL and is not intended for minors
or persons excluded from gaming.
3. To enter - one automatic entry will go into the draw with every purchase of $10 or more in La
Bocca, La Vista, Alleys Restaurant and Bar and the Main Bar or simply play any of our Gaming
machines to gain entries with every turnover of $10 or more.
4. Due to licensing regulations, purchases for cigarettes in La Bocca cannot be included in this
promotion.
5. Members must have their financial Currumbin RSL membership card in the Gaming machine to
receive automatic entries with every $10 turnover.
6. Entrants must be present in the Club at the time of the draws to be eligible to win the prize/s
offered.
7. The draws for finalists will be conducted on the following days in the following manner:
a) Commencing from 07/02/2015 inclusive on each Sunday during the promotional period from
2pm in our gaming room one (1) eligible entry will be electronically drawn every half an hour
until 6 eligible entries have been drawn. Draws will be at 2pm, 2.30pm, 3pm, 3.30pm, 4pm
and 4.30pm.
b) The member’s name will be announced 3 times and given 3 minutes to present themselves to
the designated promotion staff member located at the promotional station in the gaming
room
i. If the member does not present themselves to the designated promotion staff member
within the 3 minute time period then another eligible entry will be drawn at the 4.30
pm draw and not before.
c) At the completion of the 4.30pm draw once the total of six (6) eligible weekly entrants have
been found each of these entrants will be asked to select one “SKODA” Envelope out of six
available envelopes in the order of their names drawn from the hourly draws.
d) Each of these envelopes will contain one of the following letters (S), (K), (O), (D), (A) and a
(SKODA LOGO).
e) Members will be asked to reveal their letters simultaneously to determine if they proceed to
the Grand Final. Each week one weekly finalist will then proceed to the Grand Final on the
13/3/2015.
i. From the draw on 7/2/2015 – The person with the (S) will proceed to the Grand Final on the
13/3/2015.
ii. From the draw on 14/2/2015 – The person with the (K) will proceed to the Grand Final on the
13/3/2015.
iii. From the draw on 21/2/2015 – The person with the (O) will proceed to the Grand Final on the
13/3/2015.
iv. From the draw on 28/2/2015 – The person with the (D) will proceed to the Grand Final on the
13/3/2015.
v. From the draw on 06/03/2015 – The person with the (A) will proceed to the Grand Final on the
13/3/2015.
vi. From the draw on 13/3/2015 – The person with the (SKODA LOGO) will proceed to the Grand
Final on the 13/3/2015.
f) The members with the winning weekly letters, will be required to attend the Grand Final draw
on March 13th at 2pm to be eligible to win the promotion.
g) Each of the six (6) weekly winners will be rewarded 5000 bonus points, which will be added to
their membership card on the day.
h) Grand Final Entries are not transferable.
i) On Sunday 13th March 2016 after the 4.30pm draw, there will be a total of six (6) eligible
finalists for the grand final draw. These 6 finalists will be made up of the finalists drawn from
the preceding weekly draws as outlined in 7(a) – 7(F i - vi) above and who are present at the
grand final.
j) Once all the eligible Grand Finalists have presented to the promotional area on Sunday 13th
March 2016 at the completion of the 4.30 pm draw. The Grand Final draw will commence.
The Grand Finalists will then select a SKODA envelope in the order they were drawn from their
weekly draws.
k) One envelope will contain the words “YOU SKORED A SKODA or $15,000 CASH” and 5
envelopes will contain the words “CONSOLATION 20,000 Member Bonus Reward Points”
l) The eligible finalists will then be asked to open their envelope to reveal what they have won.
m) The entrant whose envelope containing the words “YOU SKORED A SKODA or $15,000 CASH”
is the winner of the grand prize of a Skoda Fabia or they have the option to select to claim the
prize as $15,000 in prize money instead.
n) The Grand Final Winner will be required to produce sufficient ID documentation to complete
appropriate AML/CTF paperwork.
o) Once AML/CTF paperwork is completed, the total $15,000 grand final cash prize can be paid in
the following ways:
i. Any amount up to $5,000 in cash and the balance in cheque made payable to the
winner’s name. No “Pay Cash” cheque’s allowed, or
ii. Any amount up to $5000 in cash and the balance made up of a combination of a
cheque made payable to the winner’s name and member bonus reward points added
to their membership card. The total prize value must be $15,000. (1 point = 1c) or
iii. Any amount up to $5,000 in cash and the balance made by Electronic Funds Transfer to
the winner’s nominated bank account on Monday 14th March 2015.
p) The remaining 5 grand final entrants will win 20,000 Member Bonus Reward Points which will
be added to their membership cards on the day.
8. IF the member selects to take the car as the cash prize, they will then need to contact Gold Coast
Skoda to assist with transfer of registration and insurance.
9. The Car on display outside Currumbin RSL atop a shipping container, is the car that is the car the
member will win. The car is a White Fabia 81TSI DSB sports valued at $21,490
10. If the member selects the $15,000 cash prize, the total of cash and member bonus reward points
for this promotion is $18,000. If the member selects the car prize, the total of car, cash and
membership reward points for this promotion is $21,000.
11. Currumbin RSL will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including
but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a
result of partaking in the promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
12. Directors, Management and Staff of Currumbin RSL are not eligible to enter the draw.
13. Entrants must be 18 years of age or over and must produce an acceptable form of identification to
claim prizes.
14. No liability will be accepted by the Currumbin RSL for the loss of electronic entries due to
malfunction of associated equipment.
15. The decision of the Management is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. By entering the promotion Currumbin RSL reserves the right to use the members name and
photograph for marketing and publicity purposes.
17. Entry is acknowledgement that the entrant agrees to the above terms and conditions.
18. This promotion is not intended for gaming excluded patrons or minors.
