To enter the Brisbane Airport Corporation Pty Limited ABN 54 076 870 650 (the Promoter) BNE Magazine “Win a
Luxury Private Island Getaway” competition (Competition), Eligible Participants must do the following during the
Promotional Period:

2. Complete the entry form, including entering their name and email address, and agree to the terms on the online
entry form page.
3. Eligible Participants who share the Competition via Facebook or email will receive one additional entry into the
Competition. Only one bonus entry may be awarded per person per calendar day.
4. You can only enter this Competition once.
5. Only Eligible Participants are eligible to enter this Competition.
Eligible Participants means a natural person, aged 18 years or older who is a resident of either Queensland or New
South Wales, who is not:
a. entering the Competition on behalf of another person;

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Information on ‘How to enter’ forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Competition is
deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Only Eligible Participants are eligible to enter this Competition. Only Eligible Participants are eligible to enter this
Competition. Eligible Participants means a natural person, aged 18 years or older who is a resident of either
Queensland or New South Wales, who is not:
a. entering the Competition on behalf of another person;
b. an employee of the Promoter or Fiji Airways;
c. a spouse, child, parent or sibling of an employee of the Promoter or Fiji Airways;
d. an employee of a related entity of the Promoter or Fiji Airways;
e. a consultant, or an employee of a consultant, engaged by the Promoter or Fiji Airways to deliver the
Competition.
3. Eligible Participants who share the competition via Facebook or email will receive one bonus entry into the
Competition. Only one bonus entry may be awarded per person per calendar day.
4. Entry is conditional on providing personal information. The Promoter collects and deals with personal information
in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and its privacy policy available at
http://www.bne.com.au/privacypolicy.
All entries become the property of the Promoter.
5. Entries for the Major Prize Draw will not be accepted after the close of the Promotional Period.
6. Entries that are illegal, forged, copied, mutilated or tampered with in any way will not be considered.
7. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s
identity, age and place of work) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with
these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its
rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
8. The Major Prize value is correct at the authorisation date of the competition. The Promoter is not responsible for
any subsequent variation in values.
9. The Major Prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable and must be taken as offered.
10. The Promoter’s decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
11. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the
prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions
from a regulatory authority.
12. Any further costs associated with prize redemption are not included and will need to be met by the prize winner.
DETAILS OF PRIZES AND PRIZE VALUES:
Major Prize
13. Prize includes:
a. 2 x return economy class flights from Brisbane to Fiji, flying Fiji Airways;
b. 3 nights’ accommodation at Vomo Island Resort, Fiji; and
c. 2 x private boat transfers, return car pick-up service between Nadi Airport and Vomo Island Resort.
14. The Prize is subject to the terms and conditions of Fiji Airways and Vomo Island Resort, including (without
limitation) the following:
Fiji Airways return economy flights
d. Total value: Up to $1,638. If for any reason the prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to
substitute another item for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
e. Prize Terms & Conditions: Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Flights are subject to availability & travel must be taken within 12 months of draw date. Winners will
assume all responsibility & costs for passports, visas, travel insurance, licensing &/or duty. Travel cannot
be taken during school or public holidays in the applicable country of travel. The Promoter accepts no
responsibility or liability for any portion of the prize not being redeemed by the expiry date. The Promoter
shall not be liable for, and takes no responsibility in relation to, any loss or damage whatsoever suffered
(including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a
result of taking any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
f. Flights (as part of the prize) can only be taken from the following eligible city departure airports including:
Australia, Brisbane (BNE).
g. Flights (as part of the prize) can only be taken to the following eligible city arrival airports including: Fiji,
Nadi (NAN).
h. Travel must be completed by 1 May 2017.
Vomo Island Resort
i. Total value: Up to $5,535 AUD for 3 nights’ accommodation for 2 people in a Hillside or Beachfront Villa
(Beachfront subject to availability) on Vomo Island Resort, Fiji.
j. Includes all meals. Non-transferable/Non-exchangeable/Non-replaceable/Non-upgradeable/Non-
Changeable. Further fare rules may apply.
k. Winner needs to be at least 18 years of age.
l. Accommodation is subject to availability. We suggest you make your reservation as soon as possible to
avoid disappointment.
m. Entire travel must be completed by 1 May 2017.
Transfers
n. The Promoter will provide return private boat transfers to VOMO Island as well as a return pick-up service
from Nadi Airport.
o. Timing is subject to booking dates.
DATE, TIME AND PLACE OF MAJOR PRIZE DRAW
15. The Major Prize draw winner will be drawn at XCOM Media, Unit 1/15 Lamington Street, New Farm,
Queensland 4005 at 10:00 am (Brisbane time) on Monday, 2 May 2016. The winner’s details will be published
at

16. The winner will be drawn at random from all entries submitted.
17. The judge’s decision is final. No further correspondence will be entered into.
18. The winner need not be present at the draw to be eligible to win.
19. The prize winner must provide suitable identification and proof that they are an Eligible Participant to the
Promoters’ satisfaction to be entitled to redeem the Major Prize.
20. Winners will be contacted via email.
21. The name of the winner of the Major Prize draw may be published in the BNE Magazine or the Promoter’s other
promotional material.
22. If despite every reasonable effort the winner of the Major Prize cannot be contacted, the prize will be retained
for three (3) months and a redraw/s will be conducted.
23. The winner of the redraw of the Major Prize will be notified in writing and the winner’s details may be published
in the BNE Magazine or the Promoters other promotional materials.
LIABILITY
24. The Promoter makes no representation or warranty about the fitness for purpose or merchantable quality of the
prize.
25. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the
statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any
other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth) or similar
consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (Non-Excludable Guarantees). Except for any
liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its
respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or
any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any
way out of: (a) the Competition or use of a prize; (b) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether
or not under the Promoter’s control); (c) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (d) any entry or
prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of
the Promoter; (e) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; or (f)any tax liability
incurred by a winner or entrant.
26. If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned including infection by computer virus,
bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the
Promoter, which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this
competition, then it will be suspended.
27. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel,
terminate, modify or suspend the Competition.
28. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to
automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
29. The laws of Queensland, Australia apply to this Competition to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to
the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
WINNER’S PERSONAL INFORMATION
30. If the Winner chooses to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to use the Winner’s name and
photograph for marketing and publicity purposes for an unlimited period without remuneration.
31. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the competition and carry out its marketing
activities and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents,
contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is
conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised,
use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending direct
mail, E-Newsletters, electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt
out, access, update or correct information to the Promoter.
