A brand new show from local dance masters Chunky Move has leapt onto Melbourne stages, and we’re biting our nails in feverish anticipation. Titled LUCID, the piece explores how our lives, identities and basic human instincts have been warped through our obsessive use of screens, all through some pretty fancy dance moves. Just two performers will be getting up close and personal with the audience, while a network of roving cameras captures every twist and turn through distorted lenses. The result is a multimedia extravaganza broadcast across multiple screens, and we’re just a wee bit psyched to get along and see it.
If you’re as keen as we are, here’s some good news: we have three double passes to give away. The tickets will get you in on Wednesday June 8th, with the show kicking off at Chunky Move Studios at 7:30pm.
