TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
By submitting an entry, all entrants are deemed to have accepted the following terms and conditions:
1. Entry is open to Australian residents over the age of 18 years. Only one entry per person is permitted.
2. The competition commences on 1 June 2016 at 9:00am (AEST) and concludes on 30 June 2016 at 3:00pm (AEST).
3. Entrants will be subscribed to the Promoter’s database for online marketing and promotional communications. Entrants consent to their name and email address being used by the Promoter for this purpose.
4. To enter the competition you must:
(i) Go to the competition website,
www.Queensland.com/roadtrip. (ii) Enter your full name, email address and Australian state of residence.
5. Entrants will be entered into a random draw to win a Flight Centre travel voucher valued at AUD$3,664. The Flight Centre travel voucher may only be used for flights to Queensland and travel within Queensland.
6. The winner will be selected by a random electronic draw. The drawing of the prize will be conducted at XCom Media, Unit 1, 15 Lamington Street, New Farm, Brisbane on Friday, 1st July 2016 at 11.00am (AEST). The prize winner will be notified by email. The name of the prize winner will be published on the website,
www.queensland.com/competitions once confirmed.
7. Employees and Directors of Tourism and Events Queensland, or agencies associated with the competition, and their immediate families, are ineligible to enter the competition. 8. Tourism and Events Queensland reserves the right in its absolute discretion to disqualify: (i) any entries that tamper with, or attempt to tamper with the entry process; (ii) any entries that Tourism and Events Queensland considers manipulative, unrepresentative, or disproportionate; (iii) any individuals found entering who corrupt or affect, or attempt to corrupt or affect, the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the entry process.
9. The voucher is valid until 10 May 2017. Voucher terms and conditions apply.
10. The voucher is not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash. If the voucher is not claimed within two weeks of the draw, a redraw will take place.
11. Any costs relating to alterations to confirmed details, where applicable, will be at the expense of the prize winner. This includes but is not limited to changing dates of flights.
12. Travel insurance is not provided and Tourism and Events Queensland recommends the prize winner and all travel companions obtain comprehensive travel insurance including medical coverage (at their own expense) prior to travel.
13. Tourism and Events Queensland shall be entitled to cancel the holiday prize without notice should the prize winner or their travel companions engage in any inappropriate, illegal or immoral behaviour, use excessive alcohol, artificial stimulants or illegal drugs, or act in any manner which brings Tourism and Events Queensland or any person or organisation involved in the promotion into public disrepute.
14. Each entrant releases and indemnifies Tourism and Events Queensland against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of the prize or participation in the promotion including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
15. Employees and Directors of Tourism and Events Queensland and agencies associated with the promotion, and their immediate families, are ineligible to enter the competition.
16. By accepting the prize, the winner and the winner’s travel companions agree that Tourism and Events Queensland may use their name and likeness for its promotional and publicity purposes.
17. The Promoter’s decision concerning any aspect of this competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
